Ooo, so I scored? :D The box says Duralast, but the EL says Moog. Weird.

Anyway, jump on the struts. Are the P5 blues, or MSP? Great price, though. I paid $200 for my MSP struts with 15k and thought it a steal.

Is the sale OBO? If so counter with $200....maybe he'll meet you at $225... Or you could just jump on it now....the cheapest I have seen them new is $380 at a site that I can't mention here.

I'm still awaiting word on whether my struts/springs shipped......

He could but my policy is to never pay for anything on CL via paypal before having the product in hand. Cash is king when it comes to CL....for me anyway.

*edit* I just ran the part # on OMP and they are in fact MSP Tokicos. That said, keep in mind the reverse rake you will have as they will sag in the rear on the hatch. Still not a bad price as Jason's discounted price is $526 for the set.

ive noticed often that the rear looks lower than the front on p5s. could i resolve that anyway with a specific spring? i may even ride stock height with the new struts for a while if i get them

IIRC there is no way around it if you use the MSP struts. Some people have run the MSP springs but you still get the sag. It was an option I was looking into as you can find them at a good price, used.

If you go with an aftermarket strut...the Tein S-Techs and Eibach Pro-Kit are very nice complementing springs.

I have the full msp setup in my garage. Bracing for the sag in 3....2....I hope it's not that bad. It doesn't look it, but I've never seen a before and after pic in the same spot, sitting flat. I suspect it'll be 1/2in lower in the back.

alright ill pass on these. i dont want any sag issues. its just as well, i want to pay off the p5 and get a miata as a second car in the spring. modding the p5 wont help me get to that goal.

im still going to constantly toss around the idea of lowering and maybe one day ill break down and do it.

also i did this today. getting close to that magic number that i dont want to hit

could a worn down belt cause a ticking/clicking/annoying sound on the passanger side of the car? or is it some kind of valve maybe?

From what I have gathered just skimming through MSP struts/springs on a P5 threads, you only get the sag if you use the MSP springs with the P5 struts. If you use BOTH MSP struts AND springs, everything should be fine.

I am running msp springs on my P5 and I like the look. I always thought my ass end stuck up in the air too much and this helped level it out

got them for 40$ pickup with 30k miles on them. The ride is really stiff but I also have worn struts that need to be replaced badly. uh picture... i guess I can find 1 before I put my racing harts on.

would these be good wires to get and is a wire set just what is in this photo? its just two wires? https://www.amazon.com/dp/ (commissions earned)

also i want to get a 626 oil filter for my new oil change, what year 626 do i look at?

and i really shouldnt buy those msp struts, i gotta just make a real fat car payment instead and buy some new tools :D they are in attleboro, mass for anyone else looking for parts!

Stick to OEM wires. They are pretty much the best for this car.
