What have you done to your P5 today?

finished the oil cooler. =( Harder than I expected. lol

Saturday ill probably take off the IM and do the VTCS removal, port it and slap on the thermal spacers.

Don't forget to adjust your throttle cable after you do the throttle body spacer. I did and when I started up my brand new motor it almost went to redline LOL. Freaked me the hell out.

i might sound like a dumbass.. but whatevr.. but how much of a difference would the Magnecor Competition Spark Cables Set make on my bone stock 2.0 P5. if its possible. and is it worth it for the 110 bucks.. which isnt bad. i was thinking of going with these to dress up the engine bay a little too.. going with a lil red under the hood to match the bar. and s*** and the calipers whenever i get around to doin them.ok so yea. Magnecor cables... worth it?

Not really. Maybe if you had a lot more going on under the hood. Just get NGK blue replacements & save $70. You won't notice a difference between the 2.

Bottom of the page, Nology HotWires Spark Plug Wires. These are the best hands down, they look like a 1.8 setup but aren't, they just relocate the coil packs. It looks very very nice once installed. Personally, I think upgraded wires on the stock coilpack setup looks stupid since there is only two skinny ass wires. I like it looks better stock or with the kit above but it is pricey.

+1 for Pennzoil Platinum.. I was a Mobile1 guy until I did some research.. at one time Mobile1 was good, then they redid their formula to make it cheaper.. now it's not nearly as good as the Plat...

I previously used Total (Elf) 5w40. It's getting increasingly expesnive though. It's around $11 per litre now. I'm now using Redline for most all of my lubrication needs... at least in the Miata.

The Protege gets whatever come out of the Miata's last oil change. It just burns through it anyway.

and to keep on topic, drove it to class today, pulled out on the road and didnt see this car was coming, so i stepped on it and just burned rubber for like 3 seconds in first gear lol first time i've done that
it was fun though lol

AND! i unplugged my EGR and holy crap, my car runs 10000000000 times better, i have a CEL from it but who cares, my car drives awesome now

Ahh, that reminds me of the time where I did the same, I pulled out in front of someone due to being distracted so I floored it and pulled away from the car like it was sitting still, such an awesome feeling.
