What have you done to your P5 today?

MP3 ECU, Ractive header, injen cai, MSP cat-back. Probably would have made more with a freer flowing mid-pipe.

Well I like 15's and 16's, but I think 17's are good compromise of simply look and filling out the wheel well, and performance. A lot of cats are putting 18's on their P5's and big wheels look cool in my oppinion, but are so bloody heavy. Hell, my friend has 14" old school VW wheels on his Protege and they look really freakin good, IMO, of course...

Oh- and I give my oppinion an awful lot in this thread but never actually do anything to my P5 other than drive her daily. My apologies. So she's in the garage getting the valve cover painted. Drying over night. So far it looks really good. Pics tomorrow.

i think the smallest i would go is 16's
ive seen 15's look way to small, too much tire and not enough rim lol

i never thought i would go smaller than 17" with my msp...now i try to fit 15" wheels on everything i own unless the brakes dont allow it, the miata and p5 in the driveway are rocking 15" and the talon in the garage is on 16" because 15's look retarded on a dsm

Not ashamed bro, just saying, its not a sports car, so who cares if heavier wheels makes the car slower, its already slow, no matter what you do to it, it will continue to be slow.

My P5 makes me laugh daily, how can I be ashamed of that? I was already quite mechanically inclined, but I've been able to continue to learn things by working on it.

No need to take such offense, what part of TN are you in?

Made a tire comparison chart to compare sidewall and and diameter differences:

The consensus: the difference between 215/45 and 225/45 sidewall wise is too small to notice a big difference in size and the availability of 225/45 makes it the winner.

hit fuel cut today for the first time @ 11.5psi... i guess it's finally time to install that fuel cut defender that i've had for about a year now... beside that basic wash and waxing of the carbon fiber on my car

That's cool man. It just seems like lately I've seen waaaay to much P5 hatred around here. I'm like wtf guys....it's our car we're talking about?

Lucky, I'm stuck in Memphis for at least two more years, up to 6 more...

I have a love-hate relationship with the car, just like I do with my BMW.

Good luck with the weather today, if its not there already, its on its way. I've been up with tornado sirens since 4am. Idiots here think sirens for the entire county need to be "linked" together. If the sever weather is 20 miles away, why do the sirens need to be on at my house?

Finally got the hand controls installed on mine and got to drive it. Car drives just like I remember my last one. Fun as hell on a twisty road just really slow.......
