What have you done to your P5 today?

I know. The tough issue is compromising availability for diameter.

What about 215/50/16? A 3% difference from stock.

Did you try this site yet? They offer a few that Tire Rack doesn't. In the 225/45/16 specifically.

^These prices include shipping built in. So you can't compare prices directly to TireRack... Tire Rack charges roughly $12 per tire additionally to ship usually...

Yeah I've looked there. Their prices are decent and they price match too. I'm gonna try to price match with them once I find what I want.

Good luck man, I spent a fair amount of time deciding what tires I wanted to go with earlier this spring. I actually shipped some back last week after having 2nd thoughts and discovering the tires I wanted originally came off of back order...

Matt, maybe I'm a bit partial, but seriously....

Mazda 3 wheels > Whatever wheels those are

I don't care if they were off of a rocket ship, the Mazda 3 wheels just look "right" on your car IMO...

BTW, I think I asked you before, what is the black looking "lip" under your front bumper?

See this is America, so you're entitled to your opinion even if it's stone dead wrong, but...

the whole point of a p5 is that it actually handles pretty well for being what it is...no point in slowing it down and making it worse by putting heavy ass wheels on it

ill just go and delete all pics of my car with the ms3 18's on it. lol...i do agree with you though. heavier is bad...but damn if they look good they look good.

Is it a sports car?

Thought it was a family sedan...

It's a family station wagon. So there. Nah-nah. And we wouldn't be posting in this thread if we didn't at least drive them like sports cars.

Lightweight wheels AND 17" is the way to go. Enkei RPF1's baby.

Truth... Not sure why 17s seem like a good idea for performance on a car with 100 hp on a good day, but hokay ;)

For tires, just get Hankook Ventus RS-2's if you can find them anymore, and if not then get Hankook Ventus RS-3's. Sosososo good!

They discontinued the RS-2's and replaced them with the RS-3's but the RS-3's are pretty expensive and the RS-2's do the job. So sticky and don't wear down too bad for a high performance street tire. Definitely love running those.

I haven't tried the RS-3's yet but I can only imagine how good those would be :D

But anyways, I used the P5 as a shelf for all the rags I was using to detail a customer's golf, and a bench to eat lunch on today... I'm sure it appreciated it.
