Well tried to put in my driver's side axle but the jerk at advance auto sold me one for a automatic could have killed him on the spot.Oh well thats life hope I have better luck tomorrow with the new axle for MT this time + seal and royal purple gear oil.(argh)

got my 490g blox knob in today, freakin heavy!

and painted my first wheel, doing the rest tomorrow and putting them on the car next week when its cured up plenty

Got my evil M on and blacked out my emblems and key hole. I put the longhorn where the P5 emblem was and tried as best I could to cover the holes. That is temporary, I painted the P5 emblem black and re-did the 5 in bright red. Once it dries I will throw it on there.
Now:

Looks good....a Mazda6 wagon rear wiper would be a nice finishing touch.

im actually using some duplicolor graphite wheelpaint. pretty much exactly the color i wanted! i went looking through all the rustoleums at walmart and home depot and nothing really jumped out at me

The procedure is the same no matter which paint you use, so either way you're good to go.

hahaha i'll be going mine flat black currently until i order a can from paint scratch and rattle can the lip to blue

Installed new EGR, seems to idle better, but some vibrations are coming through the cabin through the worn out motor mounts...

I could swear its making the same sound it was making the last time I quit driving it for a month, then figured out the axle-nut came loose. If its loose again, I dunno how the heck it did it. That or driving it around with a loose axle-nut for a good 3,000 miles has finally taken its toll on that wheel bearing...

If its not one thing, its another...
