Also did the VTCS removal and intake manifold porting... i gotta say its a lot better...

oh yeah it is.....i might be doing a 626 mani next week and i'll report how that is if i don't like i go back to stock......but i think that after i did the PnP it runs better than it did new....honestly....cept when it's cold....but hey i live in tx

I installed my HID's today, looks amazing! I ordered 5000k but honestly this looks like 6000k to me, maybe I just haven't seen enough HID's in person to fully confirm, but here are the pics:

I'd have to see it in person. It very well may be 5k and will mellow out as the bulbs get some exercise lol

Those are quite blue for 5k. I have the 8k on mine and they are pretty blue. I love it!!

Yeah I just let them sit for 5 minutes or so and they slowly got more white as they warmed up. I'm sure once I use them for a little bit they will break in.

camera settings make all the difference in the world

my 4000K's in the wife's car have looked bluer than any 8K i've EVER seen just camear settings

I'm about to, I'm so excited! BTW, after having them on for nearly 10 minutes or so without the car running, the ballasts were hot. I'm assuming this is normal?

Also, I already aimed them but I guess if I get flashed I'll lower them.

i set mine WAY too low then kept aiming em up as i drove around till i got flashed, then turned em back down 1/16 of a turn

and yeah, the ballasts run warm

For the headlights when you aim them which way is up and which way is down. My passenger side is super off.

lol i didnt even aim mine, i got flashed about twice so far
had them in for a year and some change

I just raised them abit and tested it by going to get gas, didn't get flashed once, I think I have some more room to raise, maybe a 1/4 turn.

BTW, I'm getting an entire MSP suspension setup with 70k miles for $250 on Thursday, it's the Racing Beat (I think)/Tokico Blue combo.
