What have you done to your P5 today?

Finally got my oil pressure sender installed so my gauge actually WORKS!!! hahah
what is my idle, cruings speed , and wot psi suppose to be?? ANyone know?

Check the Doc B oil thread(RTM).. I hear you want 10psi per 1000 Rpm, but our car rarely gives us that. watch for a drop in oil pressure during long spirited drives, it'll be your pressure relief valve cavating the oil pump.. my spelling sucks, hopefully you get the idea.

Looks good! What are you using to hold down the subs? Velcro?

Drove her down to Tein in socal (made it from norcal in 5 hours lol) so they can prototype a new set of SuperStreets for it.

Subs dont move at all! holding themselves down!

i dont have anything holding mine down. they weigh a bit, and really the only place they can go is towards the back. and with the dismal acceleration the p5 has, that probably wont happen :D

Making some autoX magnets for the next SCCA event. Ill put up a how to when im done.

(way cheaper then getting them done pro)

Yea thats why i don't need anything the box weighs 80lbs its not going anywhere, only an inch or two between the box and the cap anyway.

Yes, please post a link here to your DIY thread...

I've been wanting some for my bimmer for years. I usually just use blue painters tape though.

Step 1: Go to LowesDepot
Step 2: Buy 15x8" Magnetic A/C Vent Covers (3 or 4 pack IIRC for <$10)
Step 3: Create a word document with the numbers you want as big as you want them in the style you want them.
Step 4: Print the numbers out, as many as you need.
Step 5: Use them as a template to cut out numbers from the magnetic material.
Step 6: (optional) Paint them the color you want.

No how to really needed, just some creative thinking ;)

Hell mine weighs 94lbs and it still slides. I think its just the way I drive.

Haha yea, i kind of baby mine, box holds pretty well. i think if it were a single CVR or L7 I would have to have something to hold it. I might go with 2 Jl w7's after x-mas.

jdm-p5.....im sry....

i tried to re-wire my prosport gauge to be white with lights off and red with lights on...but it didnt seem to want to work....even when i put a direct power wire to the white led....it wouldnt turn on..... i also made sure it wasnt leaking...seems good in the back of the block....

i also found why my pedal squeaks and an annoying rattle that happend to be the same problem...see here http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123752054
