What have you done to your P5 today?

LOL. I'm an idiot. Changed my oil today. 8 quarts mobil 1 5w-30. Haha 8 quarts? Ya forgot to put the drain plug back in before putting the oil back so 4 quarts went straight back into the drain box. Gosh I feel stupid.

My car takes 6 quarts... AWR FTW!

would you happen to know if the awr pan fits with the gt-spec braces?

Oh and I used a k&n hp-1004 oil filter. That thing is like twice the size of the stock filter. And while I was under there I cleaned a bunch of gunk from the crank position sensor.

You can't use that front tie bar with the AWR pan but everything else is fine.

Been there done that...y're not alone!!

I need to wash mine but it didn't break 50 degrees today...

Back to my original tire/wheel discussion I think I may have come to a solution. I kind of split the difference, instead of 16x7 GramLites 57c's or 18x7.5 Volk CE28N's why not go for 16x7 Volk CE28N's? They're still quite a bit more expensive than the GramLites but they're about $150 cheaper per wheel than the 18x7.5 size. They also only weigh 11.9 lbs per wheel! Paired with 21 lb Hankook RS-2's or 20 lb Kumho Ecsta XS's and you get a wheel/tire combo that wheels roughly 32-33 lbs! That's nearly 10 lbs lighter per wheel/tire than my current MSP Racing Hart's and Kumho Ecsta SPT's. For reference, I've attached pictures of the exact wheel/tire size and color combination I want to get (unfortunately they're on an Integra). What do y'all think?

Oh yeah, if anyone wants to try, photoshop the 'Teg classic red to give me a better idea how the brone will look :D

Won't have time to download the pics anytime soon, but I spent a good part of the day in my buddy's garage... BC Racing coilovers and front and rear RacingBeat sway bars installed.
Loving it so far... I'll write up something much more detailed at a later date once I've got some miles on them for real comparison.

^^^ DAMN! Okay, my mind is made up once and for all. The chop looks really good. Wheels might be a tad too big and they look more like gunmetal but it's close enough to give me the right idea :D Okay, where's the economic stimulus package when you need it?!

A grueling install of a part that everyone should have this mazdaspeed part.... It seemed like it took forever to install...

My Mazdaspeed Oil cap from Protegegarage.com

Seriously, it looks great and I finally stopped that nagging oil leak.

nah, just 5x7's

not going full components or even wiring an amp to em. Callie's got all that stuff

for now, i've already got a kenwood headunit and aftermarket amp and sub, just want a little more clarity in the doors.

i've got alpine type s components up front, and then plain ol' type S's in the rears, running to an alpine amp. i know alot of people have said not to bother with the rears, but i noticed a difference when i put em in.
