What have you done to your P5 today?

oh wow i didnt even know that im thinking of doing it my self now =]]]]

with springs alone would i be alright or will i need to buy new struts as well

Yea you could probably buy brand new Tokico Blues with the money you'll save by doing the springs yourself. You may as well buy new struts. Tokico Blues or the adjustable Tokico Illuminas.

yea im going to have to wait till next paycheck to buy the illuminas so i could kill two birds with one stone i cant wait to drop it stock height makes the wagon look so mom like imo

I feel like an asshole whenever I have to sit idle at a drive thru for a long time because I'm catless. I know I am used to the smell but even sitting there for a long time it starts to bother me too, I can only imagine how other people feel about the fumes. Also, I have noticed that I am not as smart as I used to be so this may be one factor(bluep5)(smoke)(sick)

Oh and to the person posting above me, I should have some Illuminas for sale in 2-3 weeks. Used with approx 10k miles on them, going to get an exact figure closer to sales time.

See, it's the fumes. I should have made this into all one post but I keep forgetting so my other thought was...

Since people have the 150k club on here and I know people have more miles than that on their p5, it would take me until approx 2018 to get that many miles on my car. Can I expect my car to last that long or does time play more of a factor in killing cars, our cars?

Mileage isn't a really good indicator of how often a car has been driven or the abuse it has endured. For example 100k miles all highway is easily comparable to like 30k miles all city as the total driving time is about the same. I think I recall that some auto manufacturers are considering switching from mileage-based odometers to time-based ones.

So, I'm going to be picking up a Corksport radiator and a dead pedal on Friday. For all this talk of selling my car I'm sure as hell still spending money on it...

well stop spending money on it and post it up in the FS section allready
I'm waiting until I get this next round of mods installed. Friday is the next big step as it's going into a shop to get some fab work done. A radiator is hardly a time-consuming install. After everything I currently have is installed (sans cams more than likely) I need to wash it and then I'll make a thread.

installed the twm ss and bushings. i like it with the 03 shift knob and the 02 center console painted black... think it looks hot all black. sorry for the phone pics. about to pull it apart again and grease it up a bit. things feel stiff and harder to change gears..
