What have you done to your P5 today?

Called the dealer and gave em my VIN and they said, "Yup, you got a recall."

That's it

Eh, probably not the turbo that did. I'm now almost certain it's the valve seals. Won't know for certain until I can do a leakdown test but at the current rate things are going it's going to be a while before I can do that.

Haha, more than likely. The car is going to be sitting for about a month while I'm in Europe. Hopefully I can get a leakdown test before I leave so if it is the valves seals I might try to get them fixed while I'm gone (don't start about me doing it myself, Ryan!). I'd work on it myself but I just don't have thhe time over the next month or so. Unfortunately it's going to have to make the drive from Blacksburg, VA to Mason, OH and then from Mason to Virginia Beach and then back again about a month later. Hopefully it'll last that long.

I'm about to burn mine.

On the plus side, I just ordered MSP calipers, rotors, and pads for mine. Plus I'm putting another rear caliper on to replace the one that keeps screwing up on me.

I recently bought a protege5 2002 and wondering if I would be eligible to get my vehicle serviced for a recall since I am already way out of warranty period...
I would assume so..

If it's an 02, probably no recall. You can always call your local dealer and read em off your VIN and they can tell you

Installed my optima battery top, new optima redtop (old one was corroding at the side terminal), had to custom make a bracket for the new battery tray, and wired the upper turn signals to also stay on with the parking lights.

Just got my Mazda Tribute washer nozzles and installed like right now. I like the spray then the stream of water. Cost only $7 from the Dealer=)

still rockin the aveo. Manifold didn't show up at the dealer yesterday. Also, ordering an amp wiring kit today so I can hook up the sub

^^^^show us some pics mang! How's the ride? Do you have the Basics?

It's honestly not that much lower, as I was only 1 thread from the bottom previously. I have the SS's. Here's a pic from when I first dropped it.

Thats pretty low man, tuckin tire it seems from the pic. I had the Basics on my Honda, had them on the last perch, rode like a brick lol..Of course I was low as phuck, thats all that mattered. Lookn good tho mang :)

I had my new Yokohama S.drive 205/50-16 summer tires put on yesterday and gave her a quick bath (clay barred, polished and waxed last week)...

They're pretty quiet and smooth riding but respond extremely well.
