What have you done to your P5 today?

I finally had a chance to test mount the steelies for my winter setup. They are 14x5.5 off of a 1993 Eclipse.

Excuse the contrast, had to brighten it up so you could see the wheel from the shadows

See I've always thought my idea would come to fruition: ICE SKATE WHEELS! We don' need no stinkin winter tires!

Replaced the dreaded sls aluminum bracket that cracked in half five days ago with there new and improved steel bracket. New yes improved sorta. Had to improvise to get it to go on and it still doesnt fit right. Had to grind down one side cuz the hole wouldn't match up. And the hole thats for the actual mount is a little high causing the bushing to stretch upwards. This sucks but its better than the cracked bracket. I'm definently going to change me passenger side mount for a better one like the one from sheep unit. Also going to change my front sls for an awr mount.

Turned the extra rr package tray inlay that I got from Brach into my unofficial Medieval radiator cover with a little trimming, drilling & polishing.

What the hell is a medieval radiator cover? I'm thoroughly confused. I wasn't aware they had cars, much less radiators in the 16th century...

So, she didn't notice the header and intake, really, she noticed the bank receipt for the cash I took out to pay for the header welding, and asked what I did to the car!

She did apparently notice the car was a bit louder on the ride home last night, though she only brought it up when we were talking about the money this morning.

Nice Jeff. Not much clearance by the looks of it.

Ya, it is close but wheel spun freely in both directions.

Medieval is another name that Brach's products are going under. At least I have seen both names used for the lightweight pulleys on here. It is just the radiator cover (similiar to the Air Diverter Panel).

lol....my wife would have noticed the sound first and money later. So it seems as if she is ok with the new setup?

gotcha.

The rad cap cover is actually for a different car with a slightly bigger cap. Had to modify the set screw to work on our oem caps. Think it was for some other japanese car that starts with H (puke) LOL. No the rad cap cvr wasn't made by Brach/Medieval.

PIX! 1st one is slotted rr pkg tray inlay that matches dead pedal & heel pad style. 2nd one is the etched rr pkg tray turned rad cover.(at least until the real one's get made).................
