What have you done to your P5 today?

The problem with that is you have to remember to put the things back where they belong. I tend to pull tools out and use them and keep pulling tools out until the job is done. When the job is done I just leave everything out because I am busy playing with what I just created or eating or getting cleaned up. Then the tools just lay around unorganized anyway.

yeah, they have a black version of that toolbox. It's actually 2 stacked boxes. the 1 on the bottom has casters and I think 5 decently deep drawers (the bottom couple are enormous. That may be where the power tools sleep...), and the top is a 6 drawer deal that sits on top (3 full width, 3 small ones @ the top). Damn thing was on sale too, so I'm really happy w/ that :D

Yep, same one. And the best part...The whole thing fits in the P5! That's how I got mine home from a friend of mine's house. I bought it off him with a nice variety of tools (90% Craftsman) included!

today I changed my front brakes .I went with the cheap ones from autozone. X-mass is to close to be buying parts for my car and unemployment does not pay enough to buy the high dollar stuff so maybe this summer after I find some work and holidays are done and over with I can buy some good ones.Till then I know my car will stop without the worry of worn out brake pads.

3-6 months of living expenses should be in savings for situations like yours. Hope you are fortunate enough to have that. Good luck!
I'm willing to bet that 0.000006909664% of people are prepared like that with the financial pressures of just getting by that are prevelent in today's world. Sure it's possible...if you deprive yourself & just go to work & stay home. Unless you have no kids, your parents paid for college AND you graduated & lucked into some lucrative longterm economyproof job. Good advice but not really that realistic of an expectation in this day & age. I will however 2nd the wish of luck scoring new employment. Back on topic, worked over the rush hour traffic coming & going today.

Templates for what? I currently have his smoked reverse and rear turn signal overlays and love 'em plus some custom overlays for the wifey's MPV. :)

Hey - does anyone know where I can buy a block heater for my P5? I tried searching the forum and the internets and I found nothing. I thought mazdastuff.com had them, but no dice.

ive got his red outs on my reverse lights

Started working on the P5, couldn't get the axle out of the transmission though. I think I'm just being weak today :( Hopefully I'll get it running today, drive it for a while (zomg boost!!! not a minivan!!!), and then park it back in the garage before the snow storm hits tomorrow.

YAY SHE RUNS!!!!! (flash)(flash)(yippy)

After nearly 1.5 months down-time, she runs again. All thanks to about an hour of work and my buddy Gabe helping me yank the axle out.

The boost felt SOOOOO good, must be a combination of driving minivan or Camry for extended period of time and the cold weather. It pulled super hard! I drove it around for about 30 minutes through my favorite curves and places where I can let it rip, then filled it full up with gas and parked it back in the garage. That's where she'll stay until I find or rent another place to park her after I buy a daily driver car.

I just put on a set of Tien S-Techs on my 02 P5. With the stock struts, it handels great. I can't imagine what it will be like once the new 19.5mm, AWR sway bar and the Tokico HP struts are on.

Yeah I love them too, the rake is perfect in my eyes. But hoping they get a little bit more comfortable with Tokicos. Bit of a bounce when driving on section roadways.
