What have you done to your P5 today?

Replaced all (front and rear) brake pads. Stops nicely now :D the front pads were almost non existent lol

went to sears and got goodies =D

got a set or torx wrenches and took off and cleaned the IAC

idles muuuuch better now.

new tools ftw

when i was taking off one of the torx screws it dropped, and it fell underneath my engine on the floor...

which i handily retrieved with my new LED lit magnetic picker upper tool thingamabob (eekdance)

it was relatively easy to clean. much easier then the egr valve. i just sprayed it with some brake kleen to get rid of the carbon buildup on that brownish plunger piece.

i drove it around last night for awhile, and i had 2 misfire episodes, but ill attest that to some arcing. ill swap out the plugs this week.

Do you have an automatic? I dip into the 200RPM range some times on my manual when I take off with too little gas. It's actually kind of fun, lol. Rough idle has gotten me that low as well before, but I just rev it back to life. It hasn't done that in a long time for me, I considered doing all the cleaning of the various parts to fix it after reading all the threads. I just raced the car around a bit and it doesn't do that to me any more. I vary the car between driving like a grandma, normal, and aggressively.

drove my car home from work. it idled like s***. the idles would dip low when i pushed the clutch in. when i started it up, and started to drive off, my idle started goin nuts, and then idled low, then died.

wtf is wrong with my car,

"I was stopped in rush hour syracuse traffic. Woman behind me also stopped. Idiot behind her didn't bother....smashy smash 12 car pileup. Front bumper just scratched.. Car in front of me just...never even stopped. My car will now be 100 miles from rochester."

one of the 22v trinity has fallen. moment of silence
