What have you done to your P5 today?

I did this last night. Chrome stock STB, Chrome Valve Cover and Nology Hotwires. Greddy oil cap is on hte way to finsh off the valver cover.

Looks good chris

Nope an 03.

Why is your ignition different then mine?

I don't have any readily available pictures, but my coil packs are on top of my spark plugs/valve cover. (ugh)

Hopefully the answer doesn't make me feel stupid, because this really feels like one of those "No such thing as a stupid question" moments.

1.8L conversion on the ingition system from what I understand

It does remind me of my buddy's '00 ES...

^^^ Looks like he's running the Nology SP wires - they route like that with the N/A Protege's

That makes sense... esp if Nology doesn't make the super short wires, that would cause installation issues without relocating the coil packs...

My nology wires are the same as Chris's. For the N/A protege wires come with a coil relocation bracket. You have to split the factory wire loom and fish out the coil wires and then make a new wire loom to run around the front of the motor.

What he said. Splitting that loom is not fun, but the install is fairly easy and I can tell a difference in throttle response and I swear it feels a little more peppy.

Let me know if you want better questions or want to pick up a set for yourself.

I sell them.

Thanks,

(peep)
Does that make mine a "she" because I have a short shifter?(shrug)

Hmm, how to put this tactfully....

I know my P5 is a female because I constantly have to manipulate my short shifter in order to keep my P5 zooming. If my car was a dude, I'd put it in one gear and leave it.

There is nothing automatic about pleasuring a female Protege 5.
