What have you done to your P5 today?

is it safe to take a waterhose to the engine bay if i cover the intake?

and what are the advantages to aftermarket wires?

I use turtle wax ICE and clean my engine bay by hand. I have been doing that since day one.

As for the nology wires. Its simply for looks for me. I REALY REALY couldn't stand the look of those stock puny wires. There is some performance gains but that was just an added benifit for me.

My car is all about looks now. If I want horsepower I'll just go drive my 1950 Chevy Truck. Its only got 355 hp and 405 lbs of torque (for now).

I removed the side mouldings the other day. Got all the adhesive off by using 3M adhesive cleaner, and an eraser wheel on my drill. I got all of the drivers side done, then almost all of the passenger side when I slipped with the wheel and wore three little spots through the paint. I wasn't too happy. BUT, my sister's fiance and his dad have a body shop. He said just get him the paint and he'll paint anything I want. He currently has my DG lip that needs reshot.

Oh, I also noticed that the drivers side rear door has been repainted because under the moulding doesn't match one bit, and there are visible masking lines now.

Sounds like its time to do a custom paint job. ;)

Front left caliper seized. Replaced it today. have changed out 3 in the past year. Only 1 original left.

Awesome man, I remember you asking me about them at the Carlisle show. Sorry to hear you knicked your door a bit though :(

drove her home from protegegarage tonight!!! i haven't driven her in a month, it sucks! but with the new stuff it's really nice. its gonna take some time to get used to the new loud motor mounts, but outside of that i like it a lot. anyone else with the lightweight fly... how long before your engine "got used" to it and idled normally?
