is it safe to take a waterhose to the engine bay if i cover the intake?
and what are the advantages to aftermarket wires?

I removed the side mouldings the other day. Got all the adhesive off by using 3M adhesive cleaner, and an eraser wheel on my drill. I got all of the drivers side done, then almost all of the passenger side when I slipped with the wheel and wore three little spots through the paint. I wasn't too happy. BUT, my sister's fiance and his dad have a body shop. He said just get him the paint and he'll paint anything I want. He currently has my DG lip that needs reshot.
Oh, I also noticed that the drivers side rear door has been repainted because under the moulding doesn't match one bit, and there are visible masking lines now.
Front left caliper seized. Replaced it today. have changed out 3 in the past year. Only 1 original left.

well busy day for me, drove the car around for a few miles, still stumbled a bit...then got a cel, p0140 (again) so i ripped out the o2 sensor (lot's of heat!!) took out my home made MIL eliminator and replaced it with one i had bought last year....it's a sealed unit with a flashing led (indicates it's wired correctly and working)...while under the car changed the fluids...some new mobil 1 and 626 filter...dropped her down started her up and remembered i hadn't put the oil in, shut it right off..whew!!! filled her up and checked for leaks, none and off i went, drove around for about an hour, no cel and no stumbled.....i'm optimistic!!!!
