What have you done to your P5 today?

Removed exhaust manifold and junk so I could take off the leaky oil pan... going to wait for it dry up a little bit and slap the new one on and start reassembling. Then it will be turbotime ?!?!!?!

Bought for 100$ worth of protective carpets in back and front and a pair of front seat covers (ugly but necessery).

Also, I took my P5 to the movies!!! Me and my girlfriend went to see Shrek3 at the drive thru cinema. It's the best feeling ever, watching a movie in your week old car :)

Ordered new exhaust gaskets for CS exhaust due this Friday and set up appointment at exhaust shop to get an 02 bung welded in. Catless here I come...

Upgrades in my sig. More to come :D Pictures to come a lot later.

Also saving for :
GT CF mirrors
UDP and Belts
Upgraded rotor, pads, and ss lines
Oil catch can and oil relocation kit
High flow cat
626 Valve Cover and 1.8L coil setup

I'm going to be broke!......

retro-fitted lexus capsules into my fogs to make them yellow, i love the way it looks! Was actually pretty easy to do aswell. Love it!

welcome to the family!

Drove it for the first time in over a week! Put 1600 miles or so on the MPV last week, driving to and from N.C. for vacation. Driving the P5 again, it felt shockingly low and rough-riding after sitting high and floaty in the white whale for a week!
It was nice to row my own again, though. I wish the 2nd gen. MPV had been available in a stick!

recieved Bosch Oil Filter from RockAuto

There's this off ramp on my way to work that has an amazingly flat, smooth and grippy intersection at the end. I always catch that light green, so I do about 40 thru the left hander. Not too fast, but fast enough to have fun. Found out this morning that they tore it up to do some road work. My suspension was cursing me the rest of the way to work. Oops.

^^^ Had the same thing happen to me when I first returned home from school except its a road I usually do about 50 mph in! They had stripped the top layer of asphalt off to re-do the road. Needless to say I hit an elevated manhole cover going about 45 mph. I still think my car hasn't forgiven me...

i kicked my protege yesterday......but only in an effort to wedge my front bumper underneath the headlight so itll stop falling off lol........it didnt work
i think im gonna have to go ghetto and pull the bumper cover off :\

It's really not that hard - you technically don't even have to lift the car off the ground. Sounds like you broke the little clip that hold the bumper under the headlight.

This was the same type of thing, but they cut several sections out for repair...and didn't do anything about it.

a week today since my baby's been driven... :( it'll be another 10 days before she moves (on vacation)

can anyone tell me what the emissions laws in PA are? i still have the second cat (first replaced by the OBX), but i'm just curious if my baby would be illegal there...

Ordered 3 qts Redline MT90 Gear Oil, % qts Redline 10W30 Motor Oil, and OEM Oil Filter from Montegomery Mazda (thanks bagman1)! All I get to do now is sit patiently and wait for all these ordered goodies to come in: CS exhaust and full gasket set, MSP doorsills, and all mentioned above! Does anyone know the size of the washer on the oilpan drain plug???

^^^Welcome back Bruce....sounds like it is time for a drive. (drive2)

Just fininshed washing her and found a lug nut loose on the rear PS wheel. Would have really sucked to watch my tire pass me tomorrow on my morning commute. lol Getting ready to clean the windows and make the tires shiny.

Thanks. Glad you found the loose lug early!! Did you check the others? hehe
