What have you done to your P5 today?

i ripped the door trim off, and then spent 30 minutes on 8 inches of that sticky crap. needless to say, i gave up. i'm gonna have to try something stronger than bumper sticker remover and a fingernail to get it off.

right now the sides of my car looks AWESOME ;) (puke)

rubber wheel used for removing pinstriping will help you with that glue. check your local auto paint store.

I can't afford katskinz or tweed. I want to keep the stock seats protected from the Arizona sun, so seat covers it is.

I got some off of ebay, don't get them they are really thin and will most likely tear within the year. But they look pretty good for now. I'm not real impressed but they were only $30. You get what you pay for.

I have some similar. Don't care what others think about them either. Mine have held up for over 2 1/2 years just fine AND my seats don't smell like sweat or ass either. Car still has factory smell after almost 4 years FTW! Unless I luck onto a full leather interior they'll stay. New fronts that don't have matching rear seat just doesn't appeal to me. I might do racing seats if the car wasn't a daily driver & the back seat was coming out anyway but other than that naaah. Just get more if they shred.

wewt 25% done installing my 2nd set of lowering springs. I didn't even need the spring compressor (since the springs I have on right now are so low). I did rent it anyway though just in case, though it's the wrong one, the one that goes inside the spring (impossible). I had to come online to check my old photos to see how the dot on top of each strut was facing.. after my alignment last time they weren't both facing the "normal" way.. but my alignment was totally awesome and stuff. Then I decided to change them to the "normal" way and my steering was off-center and crap.

dont they both point outside and towards the front? Left=4 O'clock and R=8 O'clock?

Was going to try and do the 'power windows on when key is off mod' but it was getting dark, so I detailed the interior of the MPV.

they both should point back and to the outside.. but when you aren't on stock springs, s*** gets moved around so I dunno.. mine was at 8 and 10 (passenger side and drivers side, respectively, looking into the engine bay) and my alignment was dead on. I'm going to be getting it aligned in a week or two anyway (actually.. crap I think the first autocross of the season is this saturday, so I'll have to get it aligned friday..

As an update, the s-techs are half on. I did both of the fronts (without getting the endlinks off.. because they won't come off without destroying them again.. just bought these last year), but the two big bolts at the bottom of the strut on the rear drivers side are being a pain. I sprayed them all down with some seafoam deep creep and I'm going to let it sit overnight and go at it with my impact wrench in the morning.. didn't think my neighbors would be happy about me using air tools out in the garage so late at night :P

k time to go finish my s-techs.. 75% done.. one corner to go, and it's sorta apart already.. one of the main bolts just won't come loose, so time to hit it with the impact :)
