What have you done to your P5 today?

i have a friend whos pretty good with photoshop who did this for me
all rear badges shaven, and turn signals tinted. I'm actually getting the tinting done pretty soon here, as well as ordering HIDtech yellow capsules for my fog lights.

gave her a bath today. haha all i gotta do now is give wax. ugh found so many little knicks and small scratches from rocks all over the place. haha i gotta put my touch up skillz to good use now(first time trying haha) when i took my car out for a bit, i heard some squeaks. its not brake squeaks and i dont think its coming from the engine either. just when i gas, i hear a little squeak.maybe its coming from my exhaust? my ms exhaust does seem to have some looseness. haha what were those exhaust hangers people like again?

kartboy hangers?
my last car wuz a stock 2000 civic si, am i gonna be able to make my manual 2002 MP5 faster than that for less than $2k?... if not i'm prob not gonna want it cuz the car cost more than mine did newayz... i might be willing to save up the money and go for a turbo kit + intercooler and of course an ECU flash so it runz 91 oct but that might take me a while to scrape together

Going turbo would be the best bang for the buck. If you keep an eye on the for sale section, turbos pop up here and there. Good luck!PimpSmurf said:

that was with: Protege MP3 ECU (there's no ECU flash for us really, but the MP3 ECU advances the timing, requiring premium fuel, and really dramatically smooths out and gives a nice bump to the powerband), lightweight underdrive pulley, JDM intake cam, header, catted midpipe, catback exhaust, cold air intake

Being a current Civic owner with a B-series engine, similar to your Si (but a little bigger), I can say that the lack of low end torque from those little screamers give the P5 a nice little advantage. A big difference I noticed is that with the Civic, the car pulls to 8200 rpm without thinking twice, and my P5 tends to fall on its face over 5500. Before anyone says it, I know the stock exhaust manifold and exhaust on my P5 doesn't help that situation. I will say though, I have ALOT more fun driving the P5 thru twisties than I ever did driving my Civic. My Civic is alot quicker than my P5 due to everythign that I've done to it, but just doesn't have the handling.

Oh, don't worry...I have plans for it... I wouldn't mind building a P5-T. I finally got my student loans straightened out so I'm not spending $700 per month in payments. Mods will begin to come soon. So far, all I have is the Kartboy short shifter and bushings in it.
