I drove to deep creek, Md to go snowboarding this weekend, and got the p5 mighty dirty

i also lowered it about 2 weeks ago, and got my new wheels in yesterday. They will probably be on in a month or so.

Might be a good time to upgrade to HID's. I went through 3 or 4 sets halogens before I said screw it.

Have started thinking of that but my worry is with the PS light retainer clip being broke. The plastic piece that the screw screws into which holds the clip tight is broke. Bulb has some play (last I tightened it down was in November when I painted my lights) but it didn't seem to affect the pattern at all. I am not sure if the bulb blew due to movement or from me accidentally touching it when I removed it to paint the lights. If it is from movement I don't want to keep blowing HID bulbs.

Thought I had it tight enough and I could save some $$$ but looks like I should pick up another PS headlight and be done with it.

Hid bulbs don't have filaments so they won't have the same issue, but hmm..

I'll check with the body shop to see if they still have my "slightly damaged" (smashed) headlight.. if they do, I'll see what I can grab from it.

I got some mp3 rims with summer tires for free (almost). So I'm just gonna go with those...that way I don't have to buy tires for the MS3 rims...which means the MS3 rims are up for sale! I'm gonna start a thread when I get home in a few weeks

So your PS light got hit as well? I thought the damage was contained on the DS. If your PS is in good shape, how much would you want for it? I forget but you did use a satin black when painting it right? If so, then that would save me some oven time. haha

Finally got around to the one wire fog mod to work with parking lights. Don't care about them going off with brights. So now I can move along to the next procrastination on the list. .....hmmmm, cp racing 3 pt stb? new grill/air diverter plate combo? AC panel mod to fully control AC comp? new set of ss lines/rotor/pads? iniminimynimo witchun iz next, yo? All here waiting their turn.

I'd sell one if I can find a buyer for the other one...once I start a FS thread for it when I get back home, post in it and see if there's another buyer...

I'm not sure what the going rate would be for these...just did a search and looks like they sell from anywhere between 200 and 300 a set for stockers...
