Not yet. I went back to the auto parts store to get the two additional cans of paint that I need and they only had flat black.

So I'm waiting until payday (friday) to get more paint.

I need to get this done before 3/18/07 as my car is entered in the NOPI carshow.

Good call, seattle. I saw your announcement that you got the MS3 rims and was baffled. They just look like plastic wheel covers, IMO. Not much zoom-zoom there at all. MP3 rims, in contrast, are pure speed. Nice recovery.

the initial hole didnt fit right so i had to redrill it so now it's kind of oval shaped :-\ i may go over it w/ a 2 in hole saw (instead of 1.5) to make it a circle...but that would entail me buying another hole saw and i dont wanna blow 6 bux on that. we'll c. i forgot to hook up the dome light before we put the panels on...so it doesnt work right now, and i really dont feel like taking the panels off to hook it up. I might get a https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned)so I dont have to fight the panels again.

haha, thanks chris. (drinks) i would rather stay here as well (for several reasons), but for now things just work better for me to move to wichita. not too sure what the future will bring, but i have a feeling at some point i will be moving back to the frozen wasteland

New filter/royal purple oil; added BG 44k to the tank, (i know seafoam seems popular here, but eh...figured i'd go the bg route...wasnt up to sucking stuff into random vacumn ports/booster lines.

Purchased new dipstick. Thats right..managed to break the handle off my old one. (braindead

Will post any discernable difference with the 44k.

I still like the ms3 rims, but 18 is a little big for my taste, and I've always thought the mp3 rims are uber uber hot on the p5. and I basically got them for free and I'd still have to buy rubber for the ms3 rims. so mp3 wheels FTW

Use the two flat black cans as the two base coats, then use the gloss black that you already have for the two final coats.

sweet! probably not this year, but hopefully next year at some point we'll make it to the southwest - i'd like to go through texas, arizona and new mexico a bit, haven't really been to that part of the states.
