What have you done to your P5 today?

MyZmZm said:
yeah, that's why i got my hatch debadged and the holes welded - so that the rust won't come back *crosses fingers* now to deal with the rust along the bottom of my front passenger door along the inside seam (boom02)

picked up my flywheel from the shop this afternoon... stock flywheel lightened and balanced. unfortunately they were only able to take 3.5lbs off without compromising the integrity of the flywheel, so i highly doubt i'll feel any difference once it goes in with the new clutch :(

why can't fidanza, etc, make a nice 'medium' weight flywheel, say one around 12lbs? that way you'd get the benefits of a lighter flywheel without the drawbacks that one might experience for a daily driver...

so andrea, when do you ge the p5 back on the road and start all your projects?

Snow is just novelty. It's fun for a little bit, but then it just becomes a total pain. I'm so glad our storm season is apparently over and done with...

Just got done doing putting in the tails. One minor problem, don't have the harness and the bulb sockets don't quite fit correctly.........In process of fixing that.

Just popped the hood to find this. Apparently I have some mice living in the garage this winter. Various pieces of popcorn scattered around the enigne bay.

are you crazy! try cleaning you car off 3 times a day when its -20 then tell me you still want some snow...lol i'd do almost anything right now to get rid of it and bring back the heat.

No snow, but have the same freezing temps. My P5 is a mess right now and I don't care.

Another successful transfer of aftermarket parts from my P5 to another. Installed my Alpine HU, front and rear speakers into CrazeeD's P5.

Gimme a sec to post up some shots of the harness for you yaggie ...

USDM on right ...

If I remember correctly, the EDM housings just don't have the bottom light socket punched out.

Yep, mine are the EDM ones then. They don't have the bottom socket punched out. No biggie, it's all good now.

Did you find one of those 7 inch LCD's under there too? If so I've heard its a problem of mice hosting one of those Saturday Movie nights, its the rage..(outie)

I couldn't find any local stores for good new bulbs so installed a set of the Sylvania Silverstars and ordered a K&N air cleaner.

Got the oil changed today and performed the first mod to the MPV. Silverstar turn signals up front and I bought some chrome rear turn signals off of ebay.....I hate orange bulbs!!! Ventvisors are next and then....wifey says that is all I can do...(sad2)

I drive mine daily, like 88 miles a day What are these drawbacks that you speak of? I haven't found anything negative about my fidanza
with the lighter flywheel, don't the revs drop off a lot faster, etc? for me there probably wouldn't be too much of a problem (driving the car), but on the odd occasion when others do, it would likely cause issues... i dunno.

what do you like about the fidanza vs. stock? were there any negatives at all?

probably in just under a month. the 14" all seasons from the 626 were taken off and the old 15" winters put on just over a week ago (the 14's never quite fit on the rears, not too sure why) so she's ready to come out from under cover. i'm going to wichita for a week mar 8-14, so likely that next week is when she'll go into the shop for everything. i have a feeling that once i take her out, the 626 will be parked; i've missed driving her SO much.
