Took her out on the shortest drive yet. Moved her 10 feet so my daughter could play basketball.

132K + 10ft. Well just 132K, backed her up 10 feet too.

You are still at 132K even Bruce. 132k + 10ft - 10ft = 132k :D

Finally decided to...find out how bad the rust on the hatch is...

Holy Crud! Pulled the Protege5 badge off and in there process removed a piece of paint about the size of a Silver dollar. Debadged the hatch, found lots of rust, ground it, Bondo'd it, painted it...found the paint I was given is the wrong shade...even though I was told its the Mazda red...note to self...get right paint.

Too many holes to fill, the bondo I bought only works outside...gotta get the car in the sun...UV cures it...need to do more sanding, priming and painting (once I have the right paint)

Rolled the fenders...accidentally...then on purpose...wheels and tires too wide/wrong offset...need to primer and paint the wheelwells too now.
yeah, that's why i got my hatch debadged and the holes welded - so that the rust won't come back *crosses fingers* now to deal with the rust along the bottom of my front passenger door along the inside seam (boom02)

picked up my flywheel from the shop this afternoon... stock flywheel lightened and balanced. unfortunately they were only able to take 3.5lbs off without compromising the integrity of the flywheel, so i highly doubt i'll feel any difference once it goes in with the new clutch :(

why can't fidanza, etc, make a nice 'medium' weight flywheel, say one around 12lbs? that way you'd get the benefits of a lighter flywheel without the drawbacks that one might experience for a daily driver...

after a year of owning srings, i finally put them on! it loosk awesome too. My new wheels and new door sills will be here soon, looks to be a good week!

its really not that hard to get used to. my buddies luda had a 7lb and its not to bad at all

I drive mine daily, like 88 miles a day What are these drawbacks that you speak of? I haven't found anything negative about my fidanza

you should enter that picture into the photo of the month contest or whatever. the theme this month is reflection, it fits

I don't want anymore snow..You can have some of the snow that the town of oswego moved, there's about an 80ft pile of snow so feel free to come grab some. I'm heading home today and definitley giving it a well deserved wash, and hopefully there wont be any new scratches

Agreed. I drive about the same mileage. I find the Fidanza flywheel perfect. Should have been on the car from Day 1. From city shifting to ramp merging it's much better than stock. No issues WSE.
