What have you done to your P5 today?

alright got a proposition and need some help.

i am going to the sebring palooza and i have my RB cat back exhaust but it arrived with a dent in the muffler.... should i just keep it or file a claim w/ ups and have them send me a new one? if i file a claim it will be a few weeks before i am reimbursed and then another week to get the new cat back, which means I will not have it at Sebring when I go. I am contemplating whether or not I should bite the bullet and just keep it, or whether I should wait and not have it at Sebring and have a new one sent. any ideas/suggestions?

It is the part of the muffler that faces up, not at the ground.

prolly not gonna help you much at sebring for the axle back. just file a claim and deal with it.

its not for racing or anything, i am going to be in the mazda corral under the tent...

well i saw the pictures. if you have a problem with the dent. send it back. if it doesn't show under the car, and it's not producing a leak, don't worry about it.

it will be 4-6 weeks before i get the new one b/c ups would have to file the claim and wait til RB got the claim check etc etc etc. so i am stuck in a pickle.

yea there isnt a hole or anything that i can see and it faces up under the car itself. only thing is, is when i go to sell it when i am ready to get rid of the car, prospective buyers will probably be detered....

well that's a choice you'll have to make.

i wouldn't worry about it. but if you want pristine, send it back.

I'd say file a claim, get a new one. Your car looks great as it is, I'm sure the catback isn't the "be all end-all" of it at Sebring.

I say for the money you spent...file the claim and wait for the pristine one to arrive.

you were asking about tinting your tails... you can do it yourself very easily, just use the vht niteshades - works like a charm
