Greatest invention in brake bleeding ... ever. Pick up 3 packs so you have one for the clutch line. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1∂=RUS%2D639570&N=700+115&autoview=skukhaosman said:Put the brakes back together. Unfortunately it got ridiculously cold last night and today, so the paint didn't dry so well. I should have brought them in. Oh well.
I got it together, but the brake pedal feels like mushy junk. I'll have to pick up some more brake fluid and bleed again. When I took the calipers off to paint them, I put the little plugs in the lines that came with them. Except they don't plug worth a damn. So all the fluid drained out and probably introduced a ton of air in the lines. I'd bleed bleed bleed and it'd look good, then bleed some more and get a nice pocket of air. Rinse and repeat.![]()
hmmm, i may have to get a couple sets of those... even if you only use them once or twice, it seems like they would pay for themselves.Bala de Plata said:Greatest invention in brake bleeding ... ever. or that the p5 is that badMyZmZm said:'raced' my friend craig in his p5 with Mairead, just to compare her acceleration and for s**** and giggles. surprisingly enough, she kept up with him until we hit around 50-60kph; after that, he definitely started pulling nicely. i have to say, i was rather impressed, and he grudgingly admitted that for a 'granny car', it wasn't too bad.
