Mark, that first pic is money - I LOVE it! Got it in higher res at all? I'm thinking new wallpaper... No wonder you've won something in all the shows you've gone to thus far. (first)

Installed the Hid's from Xenon-Shop and put in my NGK spark plugs and wires.

Made it feel jealous, unloved and neglected when I parked this next to it ...

Hard time getting the door panel off? Must be your first.

It's only "hard" in comparison (mirror = 3 bolts, door = 7 screws/bolts and multiple plastic snaps). At first I missed the 2 bolts hidden under the armrest and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't come off =). I really need to buy the factory service manual (I followed the link in the sticky thread, but the image quality isn't too great).

Oh, and today I drove the P5 up a twisty mountain road (Mt. Tam) and it gave a pretty good effort.

vague much? (wink)

ok it's after midnight. Today I await the call from the body shop guy. He'll be in working on it until 2am if needed he said :).

I'll post tons of really low light digicam shots when I next see the car :) :)

Spent 6 hours putting in my new IM that's been ported/polished with removed VTCS as well as the coolant bypass mod - mad what a chore that was; it is not something I want to do again. I only had one mishap when I forgot to put the injector gasket-things in the IM so I sprayed gas everywhere upon startup. Fixed that and started her up and everything seems fine - no leaks and no funny noises. Throttle response seems a lot better but then again it could just be the placebo effect. I haven't gotten the chance to get her above 4k RPM yet so I can't really comment on the high RPM improvement. At least now she is beginning to drive as well as she looks...

i would love to spend 6 hours doing that
I love modding this car (as much as it is a pain in the ass sometimes) it's what I look forward to --- "I wish i could quit you!"
