^^^ The exact reason mine has not been washed in over three weeks. She needs a washing badly and I feel bad for it being so long - that and a nice waxing. Maybe once I get my 03 MSP Racing Hart's on...Bala de Plata said:Tried to wash it but the water vaporized before it hit the car ... went inside and drank a beer (also lost approximatly 5 lbs installing ksports on my MSP in the 105 F heat of my garage - note to self ... get a fan knucklehead).
wildo said:Thanks, Breeegz. It required about 30mins extra per light to mask it off, and a hella sharp knife, but it really wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. My advice would be to use small strips of tape rather than larger ones, and overlap by 50%. And, like always- it looks so much better in person than in pics. I really wasn't sure how much I would like the mod, cause i didn't want flat black- but I did want high heat paint. I used "Duplicolor High Heat with ceramic" black- #DH1602, and it has a nice satin finish. I put on abour 4-5 thin coats, which produced very nice results.
