Tried to wash it but the water vaporized before it hit the car ... went inside and drank a beer (also lost approximatly 5 lbs installing ksports on my MSP in the 105 F heat of my garage - note to self ... get a fan knucklehead).

^^^ The exact reason mine has not been washed in over three weeks. She needs a washing badly and I feel bad for it being so long - that and a nice waxing. Maybe once I get my 03 MSP Racing Hart's on...

Thanks, Breeegz. It required about 30mins extra per light to mask it off, and a hella sharp knife, but it really wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. My advice would be to use small strips of tape rather than larger ones, and overlap by 50%. And, like always- it looks so much better in person than in pics. I really wasn't sure how much I would like the mod, cause i didn't want flat black- but I did want high heat paint. I used "Duplicolor High Heat with ceramic" black- #DH1602, and it has a nice satin finish. I put on abour 4-5 thin coats, which produced very nice results.

I won't dare try to load the full-sized pics (on cell phone) but from the thumbnails it looks like you did what I've dreamed of doing for years. Too bad I didn't think of it until a few weeks after I already sanded and painted the whole thing. I was going to do it on the low and high beam as well though, just a narrow 2mm or so strip of chrome near the edge.

Well, I called on it today........Supposedly, the tech had just got started on it at 4:30 when I called. I'm not planning on hearing anything until tomorrow..........Hopefully they don't lie to me and say "no, there was no screw missing".............

Got an s2k antenna for it. First mod FTW!

Here are a few pictures from me and my friend's drive down some fun roads, the other day.

RSX-S couldn't keep up in the turns. (peep)

Quick Update :

Just got a call from the dealer. One butterfly has both screws missing. The service rep is going to get with the Service Mgr tomorrow and see where we go. I have already got a case with Mazda started so, hopefully they come thru for me...............

Keep your fingers crossed for me people !!
