purchased my injen cai! hopefully it will be here by the weekend

cool, how much did that set you back? Can't go wrong with the injen. with replacing the filter, the couplers, the clamps, and all the paint on my eBay one I might as well have just bought the injen and have been done with it.

It's weird that the cheap eBay CAIs for the protege have basically disappeared though.

Today my DG Motorsports eyelids came in. I have them temporarily installed but so far I dunno if I like the way they make the car look. Without them, the headlights look really happy and friendly. With, they look a bit mean. My car is about zoom-zoom, not mean.

I guess I should pull the car out of the garage to get a better look at them, but I'm riding my bike to campus instead of driving today because it's so nice out

I haven't seen her since Thursday Hopefully late late Tuesday night I'll get her back. We are waiting on some stupid tiny little part for the transmission internals, a small funnel-like thing. It will be awesome though... LSD, clutch and flywheel!

Got the part and dropped it off today. Hopefully the guy can work on it tonight so I can get her back. Then I have to kill 200 miles or so breaking in the clutch before I get to have some fun

They are the CF ones unpainted. I figured they wouldn't be too noticeable with the black headlight housing, but we'll see. The lighting in my garage kinda screws with stuff so .. I'll get up some pics later.

I think Type1.. the ones that just continue the line of the hood down a little onto the headlight. The simple ones.

i washed my car today, then used the turtle ice synthetic polish on it. i am very happy with the results!
