What have you done to your P5 today?

To the desert...yes.

If they let you, go off base.. There is a mall that is eerily western (ever wanted a hand-made tailored suit for under $200), and be sure to visit "the Pearl Shop" (you can ask almost anyone about either place) Not only can you get pearls for cheap, the owner makes the most amazing wood wall art that makes you go (omg) I havent seen anything like it before or since...

beau
PS you are going to the hottest place on earth...

Shaved the rear emblems and removed the rear bumper guard step plastic thing. Started the metal work for the concealed neons under the hood.

Hmm. Yesterday I installed my Greddy black chrome counterweighted knob (sorry no pics, but it's the spherical greddy knob that everyone gets). It sites more than an inch lower than the stock knob and the Mazda3 knob, and now even lower because I crossthreaded the greddy knob screwing it on over and over and trying to get my shaundarbie boot to sit right with it so I had to cut half an inch or so off my TWM's threading so that the knob would screw down far enough to grab the boot.

Today I got my S2000 antenna and slapped it on, I took a couple pics with my cameraphone but I don't have it paired (bluetooth) with my desktop so I'll upload the pics later when I get my laptop out of the car. It's nearly twice as long as my old shorty but I really like the look because it's also a lot thicker and flexible.

yeah, I hear that water is terrible for our cars...goes straight throught the body panels (boom07)

Treated her to 3.5L of fresh Amsoil... after driving through a HUGE mud pit to pull into the shop. I guess it's a good thing the summers aren't on the car yet. Now I have to go give her a bath to get the mud off; will probably clay and wax her again too if the detail bay at work is free (the best part about working at the dealership :D ) and pay some attention under the hood... not looking forward to that, it's a MESS after winter. :(

sweet, but you run 17s for your winter wheels right? Other than the mushiness of snow tires do you really notice much of a difference going from 17 to 18?

well i don't run snows ( i don't go out in the snow with the car) the main difference is the side wall, the low profile tire on the 18 makes it a bit harsh, but it's only on really bad bumps.
