What have you done to your P5 today?

Well, looks like I have developed a bit of a clunk. Not sure where it is coming from just yet. Everything underneath seems tight, I emptied out everything from the backend trying to see if it was somehting in the hatch area. Nope....... On a sad note, I did notice that my passenger rear wheel is bent on the inside as I was laying underneath...............Doesn't seem to shake or anything going down the road. Winter tires and wheels might be going on sooner rather than later....

I don't recall from reading earlier threads, does the Progress bar get the dreaded clunk ?
 
Wow, not much action here yesterday. Got back under the car yesterday to try and find out where the clunk came from. Decided to pull the sway bar off and see if that was it. Yep, it was. Only one problem, I snapped off one of the end link bolts and rounded the head off one of the nuts trying to get em off. 98,000 miles and 4 Michigan winters don't do good things to the stock end links.......... She's a bit sloppy without a rear sway bar underneath her that's for sure (shocked).
 
btdt......you lost me. What's btdt ? You talkin one of the speed sway bars ? I've already got the 22mm progress bar, it's just not on the car right now due to my end link issues.


btdt, sucks. Go find one of the red bars so your wishes may come true ;)

ah, fair enough. I was ASSuming you had the stocker still.
 
I haven't had a sway bar on my car for a year now. You only notice a difference in hard cornering, something I never do unless it's on purpose. In which case, it's just being reckless anyway.
 
Only 12 more days until im back in the good Ol' US of a and I get to put all my goodies on the 5...boo ya
 
Test drove a Mazdaspeed 3 today when I was picking up an axle nut at the stealership.

cons
-test drive lady in car with me so no beating on it :(
-felt slower than my P5?!?!
-clutch pedal felt wonky
-stupid traction control computer bs
-18" wheels = junk

pros
-seats were omg awesome
-clutch grips damn good though!
-no rattles/terrible ride

I'm guessing that I only think my P5 is faster because it is obnoxiously loud and rough. Also maybe due to that boost limiting in 1st and 2nd on the MS3. I don't know if I really want to trade my P5 for one. Maybe just trade my seats for some MS3 seats :D
