What have you done to your P5 today?

I don't believe so. This is the Mazdaspeed axleback that was made for the P5. It is supposed to bolt right on there. Does anybody that has installed one of these have any tips or advice on installing it??
badass man. that'll sound NIIICE

I used to have one. It sounds really nice, I just hope you don't do a lot of highway driving. I replaced it with a Racing beat cat back. I later added a Ractive header and an SRI, and all that is still quieter at cruise than the mazdaspeed axleback.

That being said, it sounded real good around town.

When I installed mine I jacked up the rear pass. side wheel and took it off. Then all you need to do is unbolt the old and put on the new. When you take off the old I would suggest having someone help support the tip. It's kinda heavy and awkward to do by yourself(but it can be done).

Damnit, I want some RX-8 wheels.....................don't think I can swing it since I just got done giving Lowe's almost $700 for my new water heater....(sad1)

I had that muffler too. It does sound nice. Highway drone for sure. s***, my header and Racing Beat was too loud for me on the highway too. Just got done pulling all that off and going to back to stock exhaust.......

Guess you have been out of the loop in NEPOC. Mark's not buying her.

Went to run her through the touchless carwash and the damn money machine was not taking my money. Where are real people these days for service!?!?

Yeah, didn't know that....guess it is time for me to drive back up to get into the loop. Thought about coming up for the spring clean but April is gonna be hectic for me as is.

Sounds pretty lame about the carwash, gotta love technology..lol

i'm picking up my new p5 this weekend and this is something i really want for it. is that price just for the rims or are the tires included with them?

I think my P5 is becoming sad. I took her to a few dealers while test driving other cars.

1. 2004 Nissan 350Z Track Edition (wow....it's all I can say)
2. 2007 Honda Civic Si (Quite pleased....even with an extra 580 lbs. in the car. I hate driving with sales people.)

Holy crap, I thought the salesman who was in my P5 during my initial test drive was large.. that definitely takes the cake (though he probably should lay off the cake haha)

but yeah.. no honda! (I know you were a honda guy, but we can cure you of that I'm sure). The 350z is totally tits though, wow. mmmmmm it would be hard to say no to a 350z, but how did the driving dynamics and poise and such compare to the RX-8?

i didnt like the way the tree fiddy drove. felt big to me, and the ergonomics felt a little off compared to the rx8. the interior feels cheap compared to the rx8 to

thanks. i found it on ebay. i'm picking up up saturday morning and when i get it back here, i'll do a post and take a few pictures. i've wanted a p5 for a while now. i'm one of those people who got a normal protege and then after finding these forums and doing research fell in love with the p5 body. it's only got 44,200 miles on it and is the dark blue mica color. i'm trying to decide what my first mod will be. probably tint just because i'm so used to that. then i'll put the sound system (that i'm removing from my car today) into the p5. i'm thinking of fiberglassing an enclosure and mounting the amps under the backseat. sound like a good plan?
