What have you done to your P5 today?

Whats the best replacement horn and best(<$) place to get it? I could only imagine my alarm with a louder one :->

lmaoo, yeah i tried to have them facing w red towards u first, but i couldnt get the grill back on.. so i ended up flipping them since it was like the last step, before reinserting the grill.

Quick question for the P5-Illuminati: 15" FC RX-7 wheels: do they fit a P5? Offset/backspacing/bolt pattern, etc.?

Thanks!

...and yes, I'm going to go search, but I thought I'd ask, too, in case someone just knew!

Looks like Katya made it work, but had to have the back of the wheel machined to work on the rear. Hers were from a '91 and these are a completely different style from an '87, so it may work, it may not. Anyone know the stock offset of P5 wheels? This is surprisingly hard to find in a search!

detailed the whole interior, i need to hotwater shampoo wash the interior next time when its warmer here in dallas, too cold to do it right now :(

Decided I'm going to swap out the stock mini-sub/amp in the trunk for the MSP Sub and amp I had in the MPV. I'll put the amp under the driver's seat just like I did in the van, and build a new MDF box for the sub, hopefully to fit inside the spare where the stock sub is coming out of. I'm not sure if I'll have the depth I need for the sub to fit in the spare. If I can't fit it in the spare, I may just paint or carpet the box from the MPV (it was completely hidden, and thus, ugly!) and find some way to secure it inside the hatch area.

I know people don't think much of the MSP sub, but the setup sounded great in my MPV, it should be even better in the (smaller) P5.

This was it in the MPV. Completely stealth, ZERO compromise of practicality. Then again, there was one rule my wife laid down for me putting a sub in the family-and-crap hauler: Something along the lines of: "Do what you want to do, as long as it's cheap and I never have to move it, unhook it, see it or think about it." ...Fair enough!

Do you do that at home?

As for the protege, just small things, vacuumed. (its been like 8 months since the last time...lol) Moved the vacuum block and adjust some lines, getting everything lined up for the dyno session. (still unsure when though)

ive been meaning to ask.. how much did it all cost?
