this is why I have an old bed sheet underneath the tree
i just threw mine in the back and left the hatch open. I do sometimes kick myself for getting rid of my roof rack but the car just looks so much better with the delete

Nice!! post pic's up when it's all done.Must be a wheel day started working on mine again have to wait till it gets warmer to paint the other two.Started putting on the bolt's but then decided that I'ma take the bolt's into work tomorrow and polish them up.

It's an unfortunate thing for sure... but it's a dying platform unfortunately. Possibilities are highly limited. Parts aren't greatly available, and unless you're going for handling... it costs too much to make a big difference.

its a dying platform because everybody wants race car performance out of an economy car,
my car isnt fast, its faster then some cars, and im cool with that, i just love the way it looks,
and that nobody knows what it is when i pull into meets lol guess i like being unique?
edit: and today i finished painting the one MX-5 wheel that was messed up, came out a s*** ton better then i expected
the wheel looks flawless, and the paint matches all the other wheels almost exactly, only difference is that the one i painted is glossy lol
im happy with it, ill post pics tomm

Oh don't get me wrong. I love the platform. The car is a gorgeous car. Just limited potential. Once mine dies, I'll probably snag another one.

Your'e just a glutton for punishment, eh? LOL....if I were to do it all over again...I'd take more time to find that hasn't lived in the rust belt. lol As of right now...I'm looking at a Mazda6 wagon (another limited platform) or the Mazda2 as a replacement commuter car but hope to not make that decision for quite a few years.

already got it in the car and it works so far. now i just need some rain! good deal though. thing looks brand new.
