What have you done to your P5 today?

That would work great as long as you didn't have the cover in the back, which i always do.
That's true. I've never used the cover in any hatch I've ever owned, it takes so much away from the space in the rear. And yeah, I know it's easy to remove... but I'm lazy LOL.

I dont think anyone should talk about too much horsepower until they know exactly what that is. I love my car to death and I can say 400 is not too much. I will be going for another 100 on top of that. Once the tranny gears come in, the taller ratios will really be fun as hell to drive. With a properly set up ECU, the power is really for the higher gears anyway. The duty cycle on the boost solenoid is turned down a little thru the first 2 gears, but then the rest is pure torque steer. Trust me, the look on a Corvette owners face when you blast him on the freeway is priceless. I dont condone street racing, but even a 60 to 90 dig on the freeway by yourself is just a great adrenaline rush. Too much horsepower is an opinion, not a fact. The dumb s**** that wrap their cars around trees should be shot anyway. Thats car abuse. lol

Have you ever driven a 350 whp front wheel drive car?

yes driven fwd cars with well over 350.. and as far as mountain drivin goes the car handles fine.. i can keep up with the AWD guys all day.. and trust me no one is gonna discourage me from anything i wana do ;) everyone has their own opinion which is y no two cars are the same

Throttle pedal modulation....same for even rwd with significant power. Maybe to some easing into boost in 4th gear with the ability to light up the pavement until 125 isnt fun but :) I mostly go light pedal and it holds around10psi most of the time and you learn what point you can go all out without shredding expensive tires...

Exactly. When people say "there just isn't any traction on my car." well then try a different approach to smashing the go-fast pedal to the floorboard.

Got my wink 5-panel mirror in today.

Been there, done that... a few times. Isn't it quite the kick in the balls?

blackdragon, are you going to put your lower grille on? if so, can you snap a couple pics of the front with it on, im trying to decide how i want to mount my intercooler.

probe gt's can make about 300-350 whp on a stock block. many of the 300whp guys say whenever they tear down the motor, they find at leasty two bent rods. If your goals are above 300whp then i would say to build the bottom end if you want reliability. I would also use the kl-de valvetrain as it has been proven to be stronger than the kl-ze valvetrain in case of over revs

Still waiting on my TWM shift knob. It's been a month and a half and it isn't even shipped yet! just sent yet another email to them. hopefully they respond to this one. i really want to get it in my car!
