i have them on my sedan n imho they're way better the car does vibrate more but not as bad as most ppl make it seem.. but def worth the bucks.. stock mounts tend to go out alot faster

Installed a Megan Racing short shifter over the weekend. Took FOREVER to do because the previous owner spilled coke in the console so I spend a lot of extra time cleaning it out of every crack in the center consol. Wasn't too impressed with the shifter tho. I've driven several cars with a short shifter and my favorite was a 00 Civic Si. The throw into each gear was just rediculously short, felt like moving the shifter an inch in each direction to put in gear. I was hoping for that feeling, but I know not all work the same. Still worth a $50 upgrade.

I've been happy with all the stuff I've bought from Megan Racing. It seems like a lot of people like to bash them, but me and a friend have had positive experiences with their springs and coilovers and now shifter. The old Civic was badass...jackson racing supercharger...mmm brings back memories.

If you have drivetrain lash and hate it, it is the best thing you can do for your protege. Lots of people like the front + sides, and leave the rear stock.

this is my 3rd car with a twm, but i think that it could be shorter... when i had one in my elantra it was ridiculously short to the point where if you had your hand on the shifter and sneezed, you could actually pop it out of gear sometimes.

i still need to put on the bushings for the twm... but just haven't found the time to get it done

Drove mine to work today. It's developed a really interesting new trick. Randomly, the headlights will flicker on and off at a rate of about 4 flashes per second. I know that's not good for the HID capsules. Occasionally the car will just randomly shut off too. I'm secretly hoping for an electrical fire.

Those bushings take 10 mins to install.

Steps:
Drive car up ramps, un-tighten bolt, remove old bushing, install new bushings, tighten bolt back.

Seriously one of the easiest/best mods you can do.

Had a piece of re-tread smack my reverse cowl CF hood dead center.... Have yet to assess damage... I dont even want to look at it right now.. (dark)

O Noesss! Those hoods are so gorgeous! Hopefully it's nothing more than superficial dmg...

I hope you're right.. that hood survived 4k worth of front end damage not to long ago.. if a piece of retread spider webbed it I'm probably going to cry..

:(

A good body guy should be able to work out spider cracks as long as they don't go past the clear coat. They just have to wetsand through all the cracks & dmg, and re clear it and they can work magic... GL with it!!!
