What have you done to your P5 today?

so i was wondering, to replace the coolant temp sensor, you dont have to drain the coolant do you? cuz i have another sensor i want to replace with mine but im not trying to drain all the coolant out just to do it

No need to drain the coolant. I replaced mine about a week after draining the coolant while replacing the t-stat.

mines making a really obnoxious squeeeling. loose belt? and my HIDs flicker... HELP!! i wanna get this fixed its annoying

This website is the SHIZ!! I'm thinking about buying the Violent Bass Air to get more bump!

"Violent Bass Air is fresh, winter air from Canada, and is never compressed. (For the best sound quality, of course.) With its high nitrogen content of at least 75% (Nitrogen, like in race car tires!) you will definitely get more deebees." (thumb)

schweet thanks

and to anybody else that can help, my car just started this annoying squeeling sound, its not just when i hit the brakes but all the time, it sort of pulses
i just noticed it the other day right after i took my car off of jack stands it started making that noise, i have no idea what it is (assuming its the brakes) but its coming from the front passenger wheel

Just picked up a spare hood...RUST...HERE I COME!!!

Also, anyone have input about those gauges...

on all 3 i believe the constant 12v is red, ground is black, and the orange and white are going to be your wires to switch the colors. play with giving them power to see what gives your what colors. i think its power to the white wires to have the white backlighting and if you power the orange also they switch to the other color. the green wires off of the temp and pressure will go to your senders. i believe on the temp sender black is ground and the white is to the gauge. on the pressure sender one goes to ground and the other goes to the gauge but i dont remember what the markings on that were.

let me know if that makes sense based on the wire colors and if it works

x2...Barry does great work...

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a prosport oil temp/oil pressure guage...trying to figure out the wiring on it...

Thanks...

for the oil pressure gauge there should be a sender which will go where the stock oil pressure gauge goes or to a T there.. there should be 3 wires.. a ground power and one that will connect to the power for the lights..just test them on your car batter to see which ones they are... as for the temp gauge.. i do not know

damnit...nijad..

I was hoping you'd never find a hood scratch...

Lol...I have been looking for one for nearly a year...never did I think it would be this hard to find one...lol...people were wanting like $150-200 here for them...picked this one up for $30...

oh scratch...

trying to go where no protege owner has ever or should ever gone.
