What have you done to your P5 today?

anyone have the instructions for wiring the sidemarker to stay on with the parking lights? i know it was mentioned on one of these threads about 2 weeks ago and i went thru 5 threads looking for it without luck. we know how off topic our forum gets :)

although the engine looks nice what were the spec on it?

When I saw that pic, i looked at his p5 and then looked back again. I couldn't believe someone could mod such a clean p5 could also mod that civic hatch.
I do agree the engine bay does strick an interest in me. b series swap?

its ok scratch, i think it looks awesome :) totally fits Vin Diesel's taste of cars.
i use to like huge kits when i was playing NFSU1

dammit just checked the tracking i received today for the gtspec trunk reinforcement bar i order this past weekend and i said somehow UPS damaged it and is sending it back to GTspec.

turned car on and was greeted to horrible grinding noise that is only present when the car was in park or neutral. booked it to the shop, starter needs to be replaced. anyone have any price quotes on this job and how difficult of a job this is.

if you have basic tools you can do it yourself. I believe its three bolts and comes out from behind the engine. You can make it even easier on yourself if you remove the intake manifold brace. Just make sure you disconnect the battery first.

Real quick:

1. Cut Negative wire from side marker, leaving a couple inches on the light side. Tape off the other side as it is not used anymore.

2. Tag on to the Positive wire from the lower side marker for P5's or the side marker on the headlight on MSP's.

3. Connect that Positive wire to the cut wire going to the Negative on the side marker.

4. Make sure to solder and heat shrink/tape all connections.

5. Hella JDM.

Lol...I actually get that a lot...I understand why, but I like kitted Civics...the P5 doesn't look right with them though IMO...

Anybody have pics of the MSP (not sedan) lights on the P5? I would like to see how the gray-ish bezel looks compared to the blacked out bezel.

-Matt

MSP lights are the same thing as sedan lights in every aspect unless were are comparing the chrome 01(and possibly 02) sedan lights.

The MSP bezel is a light gray if I'm judging the pics right, as where the sedan has a chrome bezel. I may be mistaken though.

03 sedan stock headlights.

And yes, that is my car. lol

I know 01 came with chrome ones and I'm not sure about the 02 but I know 03 sedan lights and msp lights are the same thing.
