What have you done to your P5 today?

yeah i'd personally find a friend or a friend of a friend who can clear coat that for ya. for the $100 that you spent on it might as well keep it for the weight savings. and if anything paint match it to the car. pure jealousy you got the for $100 by the way

yeah its been awhile since i've been around. i almost lost the modbug until i forced myself to buy a rear sway bar...which im still waiting for...

but looking into the mp3 ecu reflash now from the guy who's flashing them. i kinda want that alot.

and the mod bug bites again...

Concerning MPG with the MP3 ecu, I remember reading a thread and a member said his overall gas mileage improved.
 
yeah just seems too good to pass by, just concerned about my highway mpg, dunno if i want to take even that small hit lol

Well I'm getting mine reflashed to msp only because I'm going turbo nothing else matter's at this point boost boost boost!!
 
I have an actual mp3 ecu... if the flash is the same like he claims, you won't notice a hit in highway mileage unless you're always on the throttle... if you just cruise it is better than stock in my experience...

see this is reassuring to hear instead of people skirting around the issue. now to round up the $250 for it. in laymans terms, tomorrow if i pass my damn chem test in the AM.
 
I've hopefully getting an MP3 ecu soon, a local friend is trading his in for an MPV and I'm gonna swap my P5 ecu with his.
 
ah nice, yeah i've been flirtting with a few modding options and the ecu just seems like the best bang for the buck. im one of the people who strive for a smooth hp and tq curve vs a peak power somewhere where i'll never hit it every day. just want to do something. been a year almost since i did any preformance speed related mods. UDP and header were the last mods done the day before new years eve. gotta get more speeeeed
 
Nope. I didn't get a CEL with an MP3 ECU. And yes, I've bee nexperiencing better fuel mileage. But that's also thanks to my breathing mods.
 
i didnt say the p5 would, i said the mp3 with a p5 ecu would and i dont know how much a dealer is gonna like that
 
yeah about cel lights, im supposed to have one on now cause my lack of a cat. FL registration. No emissions/inspections since '92!
 
non fouler didnt do a damn thing really, i have to reset my ecu about every oil change to keep it off. yeah def installed a quick disconnect on the positive terminal for that one. dont have to dig around for the elusive 10mm..

Really? That's strange. I've never heard of it not working.
 
2 sparkplug defowlers. one drilled the whole 9 yards, yeah and to top it off i have a slight exhaust leak i think on it. either that or where the egr meets the header.
