What have you done to your P5 today?

1 Down a ton to go...lol

I finally got around to doing at least this one and it looks great....Havn't wash or wax her in about two weeks but I will give her the full treatment this weekend when I change her brakes / Black out the headlights and paint her calipers...

And quick question... I'm painting the valve cover and would like it to match the front s. bar (stock red) does anyone know what red this is ?

I'll post more pic's when I get to it...thanks for the "How to's" guys

put a 26" TV in her trunk :D
ah, but was it in or out of the box? extra points if it was still in the box from factory.... i know mine just fit; and there's no way you'd fit a box of the same size through the hatch of a 3 :D

naa, out of the box. However, I also fit in a TV stand, so do I get bonus points for that? I got the TV off of craigslist for $65! And it works too! lol

ummm... ok, fine. :) in the box, a 27" tv is probably more along the size of a 32" or bigger - sucker barely cleared the hatch opening, but it did. had to put the back seats down too to properly close the hatch door, but i could easily still have fit in a tv stand (depending on style). (first) i love my car :D

Query:
Does anybody have pictures or an article link to the Protege 5 that had the back cut off and turned into a bed (like an el camino)?

Its a Protege 5 that was turned into a truck. It was even used in a porn movie last year or the year before.

Do a search for Protegefest 2004. Thats where I took these pictures with my old video camera. I'm sure somebody took better quality pictures.

Here are the 3 that I have from P-Fest 04

Has your car even left massholeachusetts yet? It must be nice to be such low mileage, but I like traveling the continent (well the northeast, Ontario, and Quebec so far) with my Protege5 :)

I think today if I have time I might prep the top bar on my grille and my front emblem for repainting. It sucks sanding the emblem though, it's too intricate. I might just pony up the 12 dollars or so for the OEM MSP front grille emblem since it looks like it is painted sunlight silver anyway.

roflmao! too funny chris...

if all goes as planned, this will be a big weekend for morrigan: new grills top and bottom (mazdaspeedster), foglight bulbs (yellow luminics), polishing headlights and redoing the eyelid (vht) then covering with the 3m, painting the calipers (silver), checking for what's rattling in the shifter (it's not the snap ring, but something in the base, don't know what), repainting the stock strut bar (to match the valve cover, smoked chrome), new door sills (protege5 el)... i think that's all :D

oh yeah, having the tires balanced, rotated and my leaky tire fixed today :(
