Got my p5 back from the shop today and installed my SR35 Blue Lugnuts on my racing harts

Those are struts not a strut bar...and yes that's a normal price for moton shocks

lets see, after fighting for months with my header install i finally plugged my exhaust side of the EGR and put a honda filter on the intake side of the hacked EGR pipe.

Why was the EGR hacked you ask? Well, originally, the threaded screw wouldnt come out of the exhaust manifold...had 5 people try, it was seized...

So i bought a new one to just thread onto my new exhaust manifold and found that the intake side was also seized. So we decided to hack the two egr tubes and join them together with a compression fitting, well theres no such thing as a 13mm compression fitting...so high temperature catalytic converter hose was tried...it melted and fell apart...

Talked it over with a few friends and mechanics and the general concensus was to just plug both pipes, well since i i know the protege runs way rich, i just put a honda filter on the intake side so it pulls in fresh air now...

125miles later...still no CEL, car seems to all around run better now

I just got my Corksport exhaust system on and love it to death! It sounds awsome! I've definatly noticed way better throttle response and love the sound lol. Also got the urethane motor mount inserts put in as well, car feels awsome but now its shakes like a sun of a gun lol.

Nice.... If you think your car shakes now, you should try having all solid motor mounts . I get a nice little massage every time I'm in my car

That's actually cheaper than I'd expect a 4 way adjustable Moton to be.

now that u got the corksport, get either the sls mid pipe or the header, not both

trust me, i had both in at once, and my car sounded like a straight civic, horrible

it was so loud, but it did add some power, so i just put the stock mid pipe back in and it sounds normal but still with added power

If he got the full corksport, it eliminated the midpipe. Corksport is header-back.

Just recieved my GT Spec Front STB in the mail today. Purchased the Rear Reinforcement brace for the trunk. And I finished up my plans to make a lower tie bar. Its going to look similar to this.

Ya I dont mind the vibrations at all cuz i know my engine aint movin anymore and when I went to do the inserts I found out that one of the motor mounts was torn so i replaced that now its golden. And ya I got the full corksport one from the header back so one of the cats got deleted. Sounds sick though. Probably going to drop within the next two weeks on some teins then throw in the header. Probably wont do the mid pipe.

Just so you know, the car will sound like s*** with the header. There's a clip on youtube of a header and the corksport and it sounds terrible. Keep the stock one and use the money for something else.
