What have you done to your P5 today?

btw, someone please explain to me why car talk always sounds so dirty? lol think about it... pound, bang, stroke, knob, stick, screw, nut... need i go on? i'm not complaining in the least, but if you have an active imagination, well... ;)

Totally agree. Maybe the same reason body parts are associated with cars. Headlights, tail pipe, cams, rims....

took her for a ride this AM and got the low 400-500 RPM idle; was fine after that. same thing happened tonight as i was driving around......on and off!

will probably give the EGR a cleaning this weekend. has been almost 15K since i fdid it last time......she probably can use some new plugs, too. little weekend tune-up i am feeling.......

well she gave me a blowjob for the first time.(blowjob). there was an awkward feeling after so i darted off without even locking her.

haha, awesome! a word of advice (even though I'm sure you know this) - whatever you use on your wheels/tires you NEVER use on any other part of the car. EVER.

which ww towel did you get? please tell me it was the monterey... that towel is so plush and soft :) oh yeah, PICS!!

Monterey for the win! All my old stuff--mitt, mf towels, and whatnot will now be wheel duty tools :D

No pics yet, she is still dirty. They are redoing our street tomorrow which means two bad things: dirty street! and I have to park it on a back street as I wouldn't be able to get out of the driveway tomorrow. Poor car, she doesn't know what is like to live out in the wild--she's used to the sheltered life of a garage. At least the car is so blacked out people won't see it at night. Hopefully they won't run into it though, hehe

Awesome!! Isn't it just soooooo nice? I'm tempted to ask Patrick if he has any larger ones - so I can have one for myself as a bath towel! :D

Looking forward to seeing them when you have cleaned her up. Living in the wild... lol Unfortunately, that's all Morrigan knows as I don't have a garage :( But at least she does have a driveway; there's no way in hell I'd leave her on the street!

Hey, don't jinx yourself (or her): One of the local guys had his car nearly totalled because some nincompoop driving a garbage truck with the side forks forgot to lift them up while going down the alley. About 10k damage, iirc - went down the entire side of the car. (omg)

Installed some silverstar directional bulbs, and i plan on painting the calipers and painting the headlights black tomorrow! at least thats what I hope on doing..

sorry, couldn't resist :)

actually, mine were originally the chrome housing (mine's an 02) but one of the local guys with a laser blue wanted chrome, so we just swapped. 2 hours worth of removing and replacing the front bumper cover and it was done! free mods are def. the best. :D

MF bath towel... haha nice.
She survived the night without being hit by any large trucks. The street is nice and smooth now, but even better is that it is slightly higher--meaning getting into my driveway is no longer a terrible struggle. I can coast right in now! I used to have to do one wheel at a time, ugh. DGM lip = MAYBE 5" clearance. I'm thinking closer to 4".

Good luck! It is a PITA. Mainly due to getting the lights apart. The flippin' silicone used to hold the lens onto the light housing is insanely strong. Use a flat-head screwdriver to help pry it and keep going along the edges. Mine did not come apart easily. I found that if you stuck it back in the over for a couple minutes and then went back to prying, it helped loosen the glue. The project was a major pain like I said, but totally worth it. I don't have pictures yet, but it looks great. I also broke the little stupid bumper mount thingy on the headlight assembly putting the bumper back together. Bah.
