What have you done to your P5 today?

haha I'm checking my email from this forum and I just have so see what the "sand in vagina" was about and how it related to suspension mods.

My greatest concern about lowering my car is as follows:
First, I live in Central-Hill-Country-Texas. Lots of roads are laid out on the land the way roller coasters are; with speed limits to match. Residential neighborhoods are littered with speed bumps/humps. There is always a steep raise or dip when pulling into a parking lot. There are many rail road tracks to cross over on busy streets. I fear that with a car that is any lower that I would constantly have to slow down to a crawl to navigate bumps, hills, RR crossings, etc. I really don't think people following you take too kindly to that. Does driving attitude have to be completely adjusted for said instances? I could only imagine I would bottom out daily and give my car a wicked case of diaper rash.

Depends on how far you lower

I'm on Eibach Pro-kit with Tokico blue struts, and, while I do have to go slower over speed bumpes, i have yet to bottom out anywhere.

I have 3 wheeled coming out of parking lots that are on steep inclines, but, i have always taken them at an angle anyways even when the car was stock

If you were to dump the car on coilovers, yeah, you'd have to learn the car all over again

But, i think the Eibach/Tokico HP combo is the perfect DD combo
