What have you done to your MSP today?

Is it difficult to do or is it just time consuming?

Both :) depends on the panel. What sucks is the car is prepared for paint, but I don't have a nice spray gun or money for paint right now. Otherwise I would have just repainted the car. This is just temporary for a year or two, maybe longer. Depends when I can get some extra funding. I kinda wanted to get my cf stuff done before painting the car. If you look me up on fb or pm me your cell number I can send you some pics that I have right now.

quick question for anyone who does any spirited driving or hpde... in my search for tires what size do you guys like better, a 225/45/17(more selection) or 235/40 tire? im running these on a 17x9 wheel. looking on picking some up this week. not really sure if 45 series would be bad or good depending on the situation

this will give you an idea: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

Not sure I would run anything under a 245 on 9" wide on track

I run 255 on 17x9 front and 225 on 17X7.5 rear. helps with rotation and pulls when you want it to.

oh really a 255? ok thanks for the quick response. Im still learning track style set ups(former tirestretch junky) Im goin to look into a wider tire then. Are you running a 45 or 40 series tire(rally2003)

255/40/17 +22 and 225/45/17 +48. They are the same height that way and are only about .4 inches taller than stock. You might need a spacer depending on suspension clearance.

Got the car back from the trans shop and it is nice to drive it again, the clutch rattles louder than before so I will be returning it to them, hopefully they can fix it

oh that's good and bad..hopefully they'll fix it.

on a side note, I went ahead and picked up 2 Dunlop tires in 245/40/17(I will be picking up 2 more wider tires for the rear next payday). thanks (rally2003) for the quick info. They are being installed as I type this, so i'm excited to see how they'll look and fit now... meatyfitment FTW(nana)

Damn, sorry to hear that man. This is probably the largest MSP community, we need an MSP specific instagram page.

I hate being broke, but it is also good for me. So many things I want to buy but can't afford but none of which I truly need.

i know the feeling lol. took me 3 years to pay off my msp. 4 years to get a forged built engine. 3 years to find a turbolife i can afford. still paying off my cf fenders, hood, and trunk. and now after a little over 4 years getting an upgraded turbo (hopefully) lol.

ugh antoine why you delete my post. now you are going to make me post that chris spun another bearing all over again (notcool)

could've just been another mod that's fed up :(

In other news I'm cutting my poly link bushings out tonight :D

just read thru your msp build(2thumbs)

random question...does it matter where i mount my ait sensor( I believe thats what it is)? l have it near my intake in the bay but I am just curious if it makes a difference if I mount it in a colder air area(random thought)

i always just let mine hang in the engine bay. i know some people that have mounted it in a cooler area though.
