What have you done to your MSP today?

Yeah, most definitely.

thanks. Im asking because I have two codes for random misfire and o2 sensor heater circuit low voltage. I swapped o2 sensors and swapped coils with another set but it didn't work. Whenever I start the car, it runs fine and after a few seconds, it starts to get jumpy. Then after about 20-30 seconds, it falls on its face and all the lights come on for a split second. Then the idle jumps back up and it does that until it eventually just shuts off.
edit: started the car not too long ago to take a video and it did the same thing. But surprisingly, the car idled normally after about 4 our 5 near stalls. Took the car for a drive around the block and then out on a main road for probably around 15-20 minutes. Car shows symptoms of misfiring as expected. But most of the time while idling, and the idle doesn't jump up like in the video after a cold start. It will also misfire around 2500-3000rpm. No flashing CEL though. Im able to boost between misfires and when coasting in gear, vac is around -21. In my driveway, it is around -19. Here is a quick video idling after a cold start. A few shots of my cheapo boost gauge is shown for reference. Also, for those that may be curious, yes I have a 3 gauge pod with one gauge..lol. my AEM wideband was stolen while in Iraq. Harness is still connected, just no gauge. The boost gauge is going to be changed out for an AEM digital and the last pod may be used for an AEM oil pressure gauge. Sorry for the rattling sound, there was an empty soda can in the cup holder. Motor mounts didn't make it any better..lol.

As soon as this issue is fixed, P.E.P. downpipe is going in

egr

Once the egr is dead is dead. You can only fool it so many times.

Rain-X'd the windshield and touched up a few spots on the car. She's lookin DAMN good

god i hate that crap... makes my window fog like ******* crazy in the mornings. I can't wait for that crap to wear off. Its actually a hazord to drive in the mornings without the wipers going it fogs up that bad.

think so? after I installed the 505 the first time, I took the EGR valve out and cleaned the crap out of it. I even took a dremel to it with a wire brush attachment to scrub inside of it and lubed it. You think that's it though. throwing the misfire code too?

I also thought EGR, or maybe IAC?

Read this, and see if it sounds like your situation (this guy says it better than I could):

Sounds like you still have a vacuum leak. My car idled like that and drove like a bag when my cracked 505 was still on and it was pulling -21 vac.

No offense, but just another reminder that this inexpensive tool is really helpful :)

3" exhaust piping is ordered and should be here tomorrow for my custom exhaust- definitely decided to go under-axle.

Anyone got any recommendations for a t3 twin scroll turbo that's around .64 ar? Atp has one but it's a .78 ar. Which would spool just about as fast as a t3 .64 none twin scroll.

so lets see my rebuilt jic damper gets here today. My 505 manifold, jayracing im & tb thermal spacers, and my cr3 rad brackets all get shipped today. God i love what vendors we have left.

I thought the CR3 brackets weren't even arriving to him until Friday... How are yours getting shipped today?
