What have you done to your MSP today?

I've owned 25 different vehicles since I was 15, and the MSP is a finicky little b****. I've never had a car that ran differently every other ******* day.

Thanks, I am trying to find more info about this CP racing company. I like this brace more than the GT Spec cage setup because I will have more room for stuff and I want to keep the sub back there.

Anyways i'm currently working on getting the water neck back on, then reinstalling the turbo and manifold assembly, then the radiator and hot pipe. Then I will probably take it for a spin with the DP open, then throw on the mid pipe. Busy day.

The sub and amp were the first things to go on my car so the gt spec cage wasn't much of a hassle but the cp looks beefier. I bet I could run them both hmmm....

Mine is pretty stable now with the Microtech. Just runs more like a ***** aped with cool air.

makes sure they are getting the msp replacement parts and not the reg prote
ge parts

Yeah, my bother works at the shop , they are getting everything right from Mazda for the MSP parts. That's why its being priced a lot higher as well I believe.. ill have to double check with him tho any ways just to make sure he's getting all MSP parts . Thanks for the heads up .

Maybe hornsfan should reproduce it......

Also. I want a trunk cage
Hah! Yeah I can't fabricate metal for s***... But I would be more than happy to provide dimensions.

It's only about 8-10" tall so it probably would fit under the GT Spec cage, however I don't know the benefit it would have if the trunk cage is already doing it's job.

different mounting points so different distribution of force. I don't know that it would make any difference, I'll have to look into that. My initial thought though is it would make the car want to oversteer more but I have a lot yet to learn about chassis and suspensions

As far as the sexiest color, Laser Blue obviously wins. But who cares which is fastest when they are all slower off the line than a Prius.

I personally looked for a laser blue before settling on the spicy... I agree completely... On both statements.

I'm converting my car to a carbureted car...

Does the Standalone make that big of a difference?

I think so. I didn't change anything but go from piggyback to stand-alone and the car felt completely different. All over just more rowdy, wants to spool up faster, have better throttle response, everything really. It's hard to explain.

With the SSAFC it would still have little hiccups here and there too. I could actually feel the open to close loop switchover, and I still got a little hesitation, which I assume was the stock timing map. With the EMS there's none of that.

Installed my new Carbon Fiber Door switch thingies lol. Going to work on getting my CEL fixed this weekend, and T minus 4 weeks till I pay for a standalone ;)

ANDDDD Ordered Bridgestone RE01R's 215/45/17. Would of went wider but they were only 660$!!!!!!!!!! A steal!

I am refusing right here and now to install a stand-alone... NOT going to do it.

If I could do it all over, I would have went Haltech. Buy from a retailer out of Tejas, get it prewired for the MSP on an AEM jumper harness, wire in a couple sensors, and you're done.
