What have you done to your MSP today?

i would have gone oem rather than try to piece meal it together. though the arp are expensive lol. i have a set i've had sitting here for almost a year now than i wont bother putting in until i get a new manifold. gotta get exhaust first =(.

im missing the two outside bolts on number 1. one is either gone, or broken in the head, the other i can still see chilling in the manifold. praying that when i take it all apart i don't kill the threads and praying the bolt isn't broken IN the head.
but ill probably wait until i can get the manifold, downpipe and all new hoses. ill bet ill brake at least one of those turbo hoses trying to take the thing apart.

probably could have done the exhaust/manifold this year, but i got into rc lol. electric and nitro touring cars and my pancar probably cost me as much as those two items. but.. fun and costs less to brake than the msp.

i pay it off next november. so then i can start planning my modpath. cant decide on a forged fs or kl. probably just a lightly forged fs *k1/weisco* and a 28rs. 300hp and call it done.

My loan is down to $2600 now so I'm going to try and throw extra money at it every other month. A forged KL would be epic, but as the pope discovered it is a hell of a lot of fab work. I would just stick with the tried and true forged FS and as you said a 28rs or something close to that. I think 250-300whp RELIABLY would be simply amazing with this car.

i wish i could afford to throw more at it atm but got a 1 year old. wont happen right away anyway. gotta pay off a credit car right after with the extra $400/month ill have. but ill need time to plan the build for sure, so a few months for that.
ill buy a beater to drive while the msp is all appart, buy a lower milage block and get all the work done on it ect. I dont want to go for crazy power. i haven't put any special effort into the car since i got it, and i dont want a car i have to work on every weekend.
would be nice to fab parts ect but that would get expensive, and i dont have any car friends with any skills there.

Yeah so i found out yesterday that my CEL was due to rapid miss fires, once again... ordered new spark plugs, put in a thing of SeaFoam in the gas tank, to clean out that s***... Need to order some coils now and motor mounts.... Oh finally ordered my BOV, decided not to go with the FMI even tho i bought the kit and its sitting in my closet lol just gunna use the pipeing with the side mount and make a intake.... Other than the BOV, is there anything elts i need to finally get this project going lol

Yeah so i need 3 things for my car and am on a tight budget, so i have to get one at a time till i have money for the other, was wondering wich is more important so my car doesnt blow up or fall apart etc... lol Coil packs, motor mounts, or Mid-pipe/cat..... the coils i can get for $28 a pc at auto zone, the motor mounts $120 for the set and the SLS mid-pipe is like $270..... adds up quick thats like $525 or so...... Im guessing coils but i want to make surre first...

I would do the coils, then mounts. Just don't launch the car before you do the mounts. I'm convinced that bad mounts contributed to my diff failure.

Okay cool, thanks. Was thinking that as well, for the fact my CEl comes on for miss fires a few times a week.... I also have new plugs comming in this week as well ...

well fix the things causing your cels first. mounts are alright but id do the midpipe first. are your cats clogged? id put the cost of an sls midpipe toward an exhaust honestly. if you plan to get an exhaust that is. if not then get it second. as long as you dont drive like a maniac the stock mounts will last long enough. but if you can get just the front one sooner than later, would be better.
the rear is a pia to do and didn't make a big difference i found. more peace of mind, but i dont drag race of slam my glassbox around.
if i had to do it again id get 50dura or less for the rear. and 70 everywhere else.

Car only has 66k on it, but who knows if they were ever replaced before..... So i Should Start with the coils then midpipe..... And posibly just get the front mount for now... i know the back might be the worse out of them.... my brother is going to take it for a cupple days to his shop to check it all out anyways. But ill Prob stop at Auto Zone today and pick up the coils.

Thanks
