What have you done to your MSP today?

I'd like to get one soon, but it seems like once I plan to do something and buy something new, something else breaks and there goes the money for the other part.. Smh

you know you know.... when you own an MSP, the CEL becomes your best friend. it stops by about 2 - 3 times per week to say hello.

i might be in need of a front motor mount. if i went with a solid one, would it cause much vibration in the cabin at all?

I am happy with my solid mounts, I do recommend getting all of them though. You get used to them after about a week when they break in some.

What kind of thread seal do I use for the Knock sensor? Will Teflon tape work, that's the only kind i've heard of. Or do I need something that will handle the heat?

Since I bought the car it always had the carbon fiber hood on, and yesterday I finally unwrapped the original hood out of the seibon wrapper and installed it, it has some rust on the left end but it actually looks pretty good, its the first time I saw my car all yellow, I might keep it over the winter, sorry for the washers, I just wanted to bother the honda guys
I kinda dig the washer look. I rocked it for about a month but it made my AC work even worse and since it was already not working well after the FMIC install and single 10" slim fan I took them out and it vastly improved. I think it affected the airflow underhood too much, so I just removed the weatherstrip along the cowl. I do kinda like how it looks though.

no offense, but it looks like the car has been wrecked.

yeah I agree I don't like it either but I also ain't a fan of carbon fiber. I guess if u could paint it to match the car but do it in transparent so u could see the carbon weaving in direct light. But otherwise I like the stock hood no "washers".

No offense but catless for a street car isn't the way to go either. It might give you 1 hp but your car will stink going down the road making you more of a cop magnet and the tail pipe will end up painting the rear bumper black with soot. I'm just saying I think it's worth $150 for a cat. Piece of mind that ur still legal to me is priceless.

I'm catted AND I have a CEL eliminator because I'm running a wide-band O2 sensor. I can hook up the code reader and the car is green on emissions. PLUS Corksport puts the cat behind the rear o2 bung anyways and the give you the o2 defouler spacer which works to kill the CEL too.

Im catless on a street car.....hell im mostly exhaustless lol I've never had any complaints about it stinking. Now when iI had my apexi n1 catless, it did smell according to other peeps. But idc. Plus, in SC no inspection /emissions check. 3 inch turbo to dump under the car ftw lol

But in all honesty, I can't wait to have another exhaust. The dump is loud and that gets old quick

I'm catless and sure it smells sometimes but its only an issue if you're on a motorcycle and you're on my ass lol

I will say the CS silencer made DDing the car soooooooooo much more enjoyable.

My MSM is catless, and... umm...

Yeah... we won't go there. I don't even think a cat could help those emissions. But it did help us re-light the campfire at Daytona 2 years ago...
