I think it looks good for a busted lip and bumper. I've seen a spicy with the entire lip kit stickerbombed and a black one with just the front lip done.
Took out the washers on my hood, don't know if I should put the cowl weather strip back on or not. I haven't had any overheating issues but I'm gonna see if the AC works better with the hood back to stock.
There are two competing theories to the raised hood idea. I did it to vent heat and possibly pull in cool air from the cowl as GM and other companies did for years. But I have also read that changing the air pressure in the engine bay can reduce the air that is forced through the radiator and therefore the AC condenser and FMIC. I liked the way it looked but if it's hurting my cooling system then i'm leaving it as it is stock.
honestly i don't see how venting it would hurt you in anyway.. i would think in a theoretical sense that it keeps everything in the engine bay cooler.. as opposed to all that hot ass air just building up in there with no were to go.. i don't think theres any real proof as to wether it hurts you or not.. what i did was just removed the seals.. but i really didn't notice any change.. i also have no splash gaurds or anything my engine bay is pretty much open for free airflow and i have no issues.
