What have you done to your MSP today?

got all my vac lines figured and and ran...I think.

where should I install my manual boost controller?

So I guess I'll go with OEM rotors, but any suggestions for pads to get? I'll be getting new tires soon too, so I want something that's gonna push the tires as much as anything.

Probably gonna get Dunlop StarSpecs

I have posi quiet on the msp and greenstuff on the miata and I don't have a problem with either. I was going to put green stuff on the msp but the posi quiet were way cheaper and they come with shims for the rear which is nice.

Installed my roof wing and went and took some pics here at Red Rocks. Still have my diffuser and roof cap to get installed. one day...

Damn msp03.5 that msp is awesome looking. One of the best for sure. I'm not usually a fan of the sunlight silver but you brought it to another level

So my car is making another strange noise. It sounds kind of like a flutter when I hit the gas (no it's not turkey). I can't pinpoint where it is coming from, but it sounds like somewhere around the driver side front of the car. Just for s**** and giggles, I turned my Injen CAI into a SRI to see if that would change the noise at all, but to no avail. Occasionally it is hard to shift gears so I'm wondering if there is something loose in the shifter? It would make sense considering I just had the clutch and flywheel installed.

not sure what kind of flutter you mean, because everyone interprets noises differently, but when I had a kind of fluttering/farting/semi-whistle noise when hitting the gas from that general area it turned out I had a very small exhaust mani leak, and I didn't realize it till it got worse, and that also caused my car to bog down a lot in between shifts and not run very smoothly.. just a thought, and worth a look, it was hard to spot on mine, I eventually saw the carbon build up on one of the engine pieces outside where it was leaking.. but that was after a few months with the leak

I hopefully stopped my radiator drain plug from leaking. I guess I'll find out next time I drive it. Might be tomorrow, depends on how I feel.

Like a whistling noise? Check for an exhaust leak...

God I hope it's not that..

It's hard to describe because at idle it sounds like nuts in a can coming from the general location of my BOV, but anytime I give it gas there is a fluttering noise. Like I said, I'm praying it's not an exhaust leak cause I just had the ******* manifold and downpipe replaced about a month ago. I do remember hearing the squealing that my manifold leak caused and this sounds different. I had my dad verify the noise but he couldn't tell where it was coming from either because "I have so much s*** in there" lol. By there, he meant the engine bay.

Aside from the noise, I took it for a cruise today and it seems to be performing rather decent despite running on the stock tune. Just came in the house after washing months and months worth of s*** off it, so I think it likes me a little more after today.

Oh and just to be clear, it doesn't quite sound like turkey to me but I suppose that would make sense if my BOV is making irregular noises. Though I just bought a brand new HKS maybe 6 months ago, so it better not be that.

Went to work, mounted up 2 Cooper Zenons, put the cat back on, then went home and installed the boost gauage on the steering colum.

Plan to drop my pope dp off today at my ceramic coater. Then look up prices on gaskets/ OEM Turbo to dp studs and nuts.

if you have it set too soft it can flutter
