What have you done to your MSP today?

Yep that is #4 and if I were you I would source some genuine Mazda coil packs or ones that were of better quality than what you get from Advanced.

I have autozone coil packs and haven't had a issue with them on my old p5 or my msp. So that might be another option for destineal

Mine are autozone also....been running them for 8 months. No issues.

Also my medieval PS pulley came in the other day. Plan to get it pressed on tomorrowafter work. Then it and the new to me PS pump will be going in. Also plan to pick up the belt to delete the AC. Just gonna leave all tthe ac stuff in the car aand see what else is effected before i yank all tge aAC stuff out.

Need help with Turbo Manifold studs. I've got a manifold leak at the gasket after taking the turbo off a few weeks ago to fix the wastegate flapper, one of the bolts stripped out and I would rather go with studs. What size head studs do I need to get (8mmx1.25 or 10mmx1.5)? I checked ARP's web site and they do not give specs just a number (218-4703), and ********** shows two different sizes on it's website. I want to do the swap out this weekend and would rather go to the local parts store then to mail order these.

"ARP Exhaust Manifold Studs

Perfect for aftermarket manifolds or the stock manifold
Great fix for exhaust manifold leaks due to loose or broken stock fastener
Full Stainless Steel
Super strong, corrosion resistant, rusted fasteners will no longer be a problem
170,000 psi tensile strength, substantially stronger than grade 8 hardware
Easy to install due to hex broached tip allowing use of hex bit to tighten
Set of 10 studs, washers, 12 pt nuts
M8 x 1.25
38mm or 45mm length
38mm can also be used for factory manifold to turbo(4 total) and any Garrett T25 turbine housing to S-pipe (5 total)
45mm for manifold if you want to use the washers. 38mm fits stock mani if you do not use the supplied washers.

I need to install my medieval crank pulley. Got my wideband in the mail yesterday so just waiting for my gauge pod to mount and install the gauge. Also got my Greddy Profec Bspec2 installed yesterday, this thing is hard to set up and my boost is very inconsistent however it's spiking about 7.5-8 psi. Car feels like it is running well with slightly more boost, can't wait to get an FMIC to bump it up and spike 9, maybe 10 psi.

My input is that this was not caused by the coilpack but possible was an effect of blown rings...
I usually buy duralast coils and they are hard to seat and remove without coming apart but they have never broken. Curious what that spark plug looks like under there??

Lol...in that case i know the coil packs I buy are like 3yr free replacement so you should be back on the road for $0 might want to add some oil first :)

If that doesn't help an engine rebuild might...
