installed a new WGA whisle!!! This will make wastegate #4 to go bad in under 4 years.. HOwever I did get new struts installed and it rides so nice with the new sway bar bushigns as well!

anyone ever have a squeeky toy sound come from under the hood? (under boost) Im pretty sure its a boost leak, i just dont know where to find it though....

Mine is holding boost just fine... and pullign vac just fine.. 19/20 vac with the ac on at idle! HOwever I get this really high pitch whsitle noise. Ive already replaced the line.. no differene..unplug it and the high pitch noise goes away.

Me too and it holds boost at each setting on my DSBC.

i get a whistle noise while cruising maybe about 60-65mph. sounds like crickets lol

You might want to do a compression check again to see where your at in #4 and how it compares to the last one you did.

Here's hoping that all is well and that you get back running so you can start putting some of that stuff on.

Carb cleaner will raise idle if the leak is big enough or a DIY boost leak tester and spray bottle with soapy water and an air compressor.

Tell me where all the oil came from if you haven't completely fried your rings and find all the pieces of spark plug that are missing before they tear up more of your cylinder walls. This wont have good results...compression or may want to do a leakdown test since well the oil says it all dude! Did you by chance just have your valve cover off and the cylinder seals on the gasket werent seated? Still though, something caused major interference...

Yea I have a boost leak tester, but Its some where between the SC and the MAF. It sounds really funny. Its good that I can turn off the SC. lol

Ill take the bumper off tomorrow and try again.
